How many people died from the Spanish flu?

Just odd they keep beating the drum for vaccinations yet some areas have been on lockdown for a year have a pretty good rate of vaccinations and yet are still doing worse on deaths than some areas that remained open the entire time, in comparison.
For example? But there are other factors to consider. Population density might be of some import

Your charts being from the CDC website I trust even less than the
article I read. You're a trusting soul Phage in a world of deception.
I can only hope you're 100% correct. And at some point we all get to see
that.

Seriously, you think they are lying about the number of deaths? Seriously?

Where is your source, btw? From whence did their numbers come?

Well since they aren't letting anyone go back to normal life after getting it, what's the point?

I will be able to travel inter-island without either a negative 72 hour test result or quarantine on arrival beginning May 14th. That's getting back to normal.

Is Uncle Joe letting you have a BBQ on the 4th of July ... maybe, you know, with a few family?

Joe has nothing to do with it. Our governor does. And yes.

The roller coaster seen over the past year will continue. But the vaccination count does vary by state. Mine continues to increase at a pretty steady rate.
usafacts.org...

OK, phew, good to know but...

When will we be allowed a return to normal?

Some places are "normal", I hear. You could move to Texas, for example.

bout 2 thirds the amount attributed to covid, and its been documented that patients moved into fresh moving air and sunshine had better odds of survival and recovery than those that did not.

Can you provide a link to the study(ies)? That sounds interesting.
I guess we should do away with indoor hospitals.

It's not the flu.

But really, it's not all about you. I know that, you know that. But you don't care because it's nothing but a pack of lies anyway.

Right?

screw it you have gone off the rails, as if you would take any medical writing from the spanish flu era as acceptable proof.

Keep believing big pharma and the gubmint is here to save you, and not just line their pockets.

Over 150 million Americans do not get an annual flu shot.

Half do then. It would be good if that level is reached with the COVID vaccines.

Why are some states that have been locked down for a year doing worse than them?
Simple comparisons are easy, but not necessarily meaningful.

its not the beaches or the parks or outdoor recreation that was a risk its being in doors with recycled air, in close proximity thats the risk.
Certainly outdoors is much less of a risk, that doesn't equate to risk free.

Also again.. why hasn't the military mandated the drug at this point if its the only way out of this purgatory democrats seem intent to keep us in?
It isn't a actually a drug in the strict sense. Perhaps the military is waiting for full approval from the FDA before making it mandatory.

Why source it? I already said I hardly trust it either. I only threw
it at you as something I read to see what you would come up with.
Let me go back and find it for you tho since you asked. it's in my history.

But any way it's just what I've said all along I don't know
what to think in all this mess. So I fall back on my beliefs to
guide me thru the lack of trust. Do I think they could be lying?
Absolutely. And I'm sure I don't have to tell you that it isn't
impossible either. My beliefs tell me our gov. doesn't give a
fiddlers f#$k about us. in fact we're just something they can
exploit. I see no reason to think they wouldn't lie.

To your credit I find you truthful intelligent and very helpful
when you explain from your point of view. It's
not easy to ignore you. so I'm just trying figure out how a
man of your caliber. Could be so trusting in this political
environment. You cause me to bock enough to look for what
might be missing. It's interesting how we all arrive at different
perceptions. I'm willing to be wrong if I see that I am. And I'm
not afraid to look.

The article has been taken down lol
Facebook.

I'm not "trusting" in the least. I came of age in the early 70s. That was not a time of trust in the government or any other institutions. As a result, I developed my critical thinking skills.

Sure, you can just say, "they are all lying." You can also just say, "we don't know anything." That's the easy way to go but what good is it?

You look at what information is available and try to learn about what's behind it. All sides. You don't just think "vaccines are bad so those are all lies." No, it isn't easy. It takes some effort, actual effort, not spoonfeeding from any particular source. And certainly not from the sort of garbage we often see posted here.

That's actually what attracted me to ATS. I happened by it somehow and saw some things being said that I found interesting so I looked into it. I've learned things that I probably would not have otherwise.

But I've read it didn't have much effect on Americas annual death rate.

You should examine your sources more closely. Something sure messed with the death rate. But maybe it wasn't COVID.

where have I seen that hockey stick before 🤔
