Our Constitution is fine - the greatest governing document / system ever devised.

it's the retards getting themselves elected, the socialist infiltration of all aspects our society, that are the problem.

I've come to believe that the most important part of the Constitution is Amendment X.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

What is the ultimate source of governing power in a Republic? The will of the governed.

We need to remember that as a people, but we also need to remember that the very idea of a Republic requires that the People realize that there must be balance across all levels and all forms of power.

Our system stands against tyranny, of an individual, of a group, or of the majority.

We don't need a new Constitution; we just need to enforce the one we have. IMO.

What makes you think citizens would stand up and defend/enforce this new constitution?
There are 300 million of us and how many stand up for the one we have?

The old one is just fine, thank you.

Ohhh ... I don't know.

I think the Constitution should set definitive punishments that apply to specific actions. And ... I think if those punishments are not meted out immediately, then the country must be disbanded immediately and reformed. ☜ yes ... that's a dot right there.

If we just had people and politicians OBEY the ACTUAL Constitution, we wouldn't need a new one.

The old one is just fine, thank you.

The old one has confusing and imprecise language and omits many of the things that we would now regard as human rights.

For instance, what is the stance on electronic rights, communications, commerce, and surveillance?

Really ?

Truth needs to be at the top.

Lie to We The People should get you 10 to life in prison.

Do that and the rest will take care of itself.

Democracy needs two pillars to support it, Truth and Freedom.

Truth will set you free.

"Rewriting" the Constitution, and retrading the deal that was the original government vs citizen 'contract' the US Constitution codified, is EXACTLY the progressive agenda.

This is a Pandora's Box of the highest magnitude, one to me that is anathema.

We must either carry on with the "deal" we've prospered under for 200+ years, or everything, all this, will be ashes and flames.

So, it shall be. The current state of affairs is a travesty. Many of the governments around the world are a circus including the US, and it's only going to get worse.

There will be no change without significant course of actions.
