The fictional novel tells the story of a Chinese military lab that creates a new virus to potentially use as a biological weapon during wartime. The lab is ironically located in Wuhan, China and the made-up virus is called Wuhan-400.

I don't recall the nazis being able to "vaporize" dead bodies either..... Seems to be some things lost in translation here

Quite possibly. My take from it is the Nazis do have an efficient reputation for end of life matters. China is emulating this efficiency and upgrading their procedures for an increased workload.

The virus changes rapidly and moves fast ( Quoted: Military doctor on the Diamond Princess a few days ago)

Then good luck creating a vaccine.

We might want to refer to the planes as super spreaders. They seem to be doing that trick very nicely.... almost like it was planned.

The cruise liners seem to be doing a better job.... Potentially dropping off 100s of infected at a time to tour dif cities then board, go to another area and do it all over again....

Imagine 200 infected dropped off at a tourist city.... Spreading it all over the city..... Then doing it again enmasse the next day in another country...

For the duration of the tour

2020年2月13日武汉冠状病毒大流行第20季

This contains a collection of stories from the region. It does contain the dog one previously mentioned, i would of dropped this video except for what came near the end at the 21 minute mark.

It is Miles Guo talking about the crematoriums and how they have been upgraded due to the SO2 story getting out and I imagine a backlog of work. A new process of gasification is getting installed, same as what the Nazis used during the concentration camps. A near instant vaporisation without the SO2 pollution. Lot quicker than the previous 5 hours.

Sun Chunlan and Han Zheng are the CCP members giving the orders. Chongqingm, Shanghai and Anhui must have their upgrades complete in 24 hours. Beijing is also on the list for upgrades to their crematorium.

With the SO2 cloud over Wuhan i did hear some people bring up a smelter in the area as a possible source. With pretty much all industry shut down and the city in quarantine I do consider the crematoriums as the likely source when combined with the many videos that have leaked out.

Man that was horrific!

Corona Virus Updates - Part 3

...

Thanks for maintaining this thread...

One thing that I thought about when reading one of the last comments in the second thread was in response to one of the casually mentioned details - it was the Japanese governments recommendations for trying to avoid infection. One of the specifics was to be careful when dealing with 'change from taxi drivers when taking cab rides.'

One of the over-arching desires of the Globalists is the move to a cashless society worldwide.

I can absolutely see this as a vehicle for getting them there, even if they didn't release this thing on purpose.

Just push the fear button wrt the handling of money, and the fact that it is one of the most contaminated things in the world that almost all of us handle on a daily basis, and within a few months to a year, they could easily just phase out cash with very few peeps from anyone, except those of us who recognize their agenda for what it is... 100% absolute totalitarian control of everyone in the world.

I was going to buy a couple of half-face masks. But considering sterilizing after each use, I'm reconsidering the purchase. Also, this brings to mind showering and washing clothes after being out... Disinfecting the shower and washing machine after use. Am I getting carried away?

Decontamination before entering the home is definitely worth considering. Having a plan in place avoids mistakes, disorder or panic later. What levels you go to really depends on how bad it is and how exposed you are. At this stage it could be less severe than flu, or it could kill a sizeable part of the population. Currently it could be argued that simply washing your hands is appropriate.

The other end of the scale would be very carefully stripping outside, washing in dilute bleach, then treating all your gear in a similar fashion before bring it inside. Though at that end of the scale, you would avoid all contact and ideally be going into quarantine area at home for a number of weeks before being allowed in the house proper... Extreme.

Proper half face respirators can be used much longer than disposables. The filters themselves say 6 months with 5 year shelf life. There will be a safety margin here too so could be longer. The mask itself though should be disinfected every time and the filter handled carefully since it is infected.

Besides the virus though, economic collapse could be equally devastating, so considering some preparation is sensible, regardless of the virus

If the SHTF, I have a plan for decontamination. This is really worst case stuff though, in case it has a high mortality and is highly transmissible. I have not done any trial runs on it yet, but it will be about as good as I can do.

I used to work on and off in clean rooms. Some to were to protect dust sensitive products, a couple were to protect me from chemicals. So I am fairly familiar with the gowning and degowning procedure.

First of all, I will be the only one going out, and that is only when needed. I am trying to limit it to maybe 3 times over 6 months. I have food and others stores enough for 6 months for my family.

I have Tyvec suits ready, with hoods, and booties. Booties and gloves should be duct taped to the suit around the wrists and ankles. A respirator with P100 filters, and goggles.

I purchased a fogger, and a hospital disinfectant called VitalOxide, which kills 99.999% of all bacteria and virus.

Before coming inside, I will have my wife fog me down with it from a distance of about 5ft. Making sure to get the filters on the mask, gloves, booties, etc. Wait about 2 minutes for it to work.

Remove and dispose of the gloves and booties outside. Remove the Tyvec suit outside and hang it up for another spraying later.

Clean my hands with alcohol, after removal. Come inside and disrobe in the laundry room, putting cloths in the washer right away. Get a shower and change.

Put on a new pair of gloves, and the respirator, take the fogger out to the car, and fog the inside of the car, especially the steering wheel.

I will also give the Tyvec suit another spritz, just to make sure.

Clean the fogger with wipes, remove and dispose of gloves, sanitize on hands again. Remove mask.

That about covers it. About the best that can be done in a home environment anyway.

We are in a great time period for this kind of thing to happen, honestly. There are plenty of resources available to help make a situation like this survivable. Personally, to prepare for worst-case-scenario (if it starts hitting Canada somewhat hard) I will be doing the following:

- Purchasing seeds for vegetables such as potatoes, broccoli, cucumber, tomatoes (not technically a vegetable), radish, etc. I will get pumpkin seeds as well. Have a greenhouse inside. Get a temperature sensor for monitoring the temperature.
- For a home heating solution figure out how to use pop cans for your needs and coat them in black paint.
- Stock up on bulk protein powder. Protein will be important.
- Calorie-dense foods such as peanut butter.
- Investing money into alternative methods of generating electricity such as an array of homemade solar panels. You can find all the materials at a hardware shop.
- Working on home automation solutions so as to reduce the risk of infection. For example, you mention having your wife fog you down... what if you could do a bit of research on robotics/software development and create a completely automated way of doing this instead of having your wife do it? Could set up a motion-sensing solution for relatively cheap. Doing it from five feet may not be enough.

Seriously. I know a lot of you are very smart people. No offense, but some of the theories are crackpot theories, but that goes without saying that I do think despite some of these theories some of you have, you're very smart, and more than capable of figuring this # out yourself.

Look into raspberry pi devices. Stock up on them if you must. Arduinos. Cheap robotics kits.

Is it me or does all this bring to mind Stephen King's "The Stand" ?

The Stand is a postapocalyptic horror/fantasy novel by American author Stephen King. It expands upon the scenario of his earlier short story "Night Surf", and presents a detailed vision of the total breakdown of society after the accidental release of a strain of influenza that had been modified for biological warfare causes an apocalyptic pandemic, killing off over 99% of the world's population. Published in 1978,

I have explained that one. It is a revamping of a novel he wrote under a pseudonym and published in 1981. I am pretty sure he drew inspiration from an actual incident of a leak of SARS from a Chinese laboratory in 2003. The revamped book was published in 2008. Wuhan itself is a major city in China, just not one of the ones everyone immediately thinks of.

So a perfectly reasonable explanation exists for that that has nothing to do with sinister labs or predictive programming.

Just you.

Even in China, this isn't killing like Captain Tripps. Not to mention, Captain Tripps was 99% communicable. If this were that, the entire world would have large, sustained outbreaks by now.

This is my tin foil hat submission short and simple.

It's a leak of from the bio lab in Wuhan. I don't think the virus was meant to be leaked but most likely it was via contamination of a lab worker who didn't follow the strict safety protocols in handling unsafe tools or materials that came in to contact with the virus. Bio lab safety measures are pretty strict so something inconspicuously happened.

Highly contagious lab worker left for Chinese new year celebrations probably visited the fish markets to eat.

I guess this could be very a very far fetched conclusion.

Yes, they both close people in close quarters and hold them there for hours to days at a time.

Once the virus is established in a city, the mass transit systems will do their trick to spread it.

I’m not a doctor, but it looks like Covid-19 is less than lethal outside of China. Why? Is it genetics, or is it that the heavy pollution has already damaged the immune systems or the lungs of the Chinese people? What say you ATS?

Careful, you'll get labeled something nasty if you try to point out obvious things like this.

Grim situation Compared with the rest of the nation, the epidemic in Wuhan has not yet been controlled, and many challenges and unanswered questions remain, said Chen Yixin, the deputy head of a central government group to guide epidemic control work in Hubei. These challenges include lackluster response, combating misinformation, as well as evaluating the total number of infected patients and tracking the spread of the infection, he said at a meeting on Wednesday.

I really wish I didn't watch that clip of the kids being loaded into a body bag. My heart aches. So innocent and young and their lives were taken. # whatever killed them. Ugh, it pains to think about how they must've felt before they passed.

It was from CO, right? If they were asleep, then they likely felt nothing. CO is like that, you'll just die in your sleep. If they were awake, they'd just fall asleep, then die.

Heartbreaking, yes (I have 3 little ones myself), but please don't conflate their deaths with the topic of this thread.

I agree however your timing is off. I’ve said in thread previously that lab worker would have the virus in about October. That is National Day in China, a 3 day holiday.

He gets it around beginning of October, shows symptoms in mid or end of October. But he spread it all through the month maybe at the wet market.

The virus hit critical mass in early January well before Spring Festival on January 25. However Spring Festival travel season started about January 10th.

I don't even know why I'm posting on this thread because the absolute 'sky is falling' level hysteria around this subject is just overwhelming. However, in an effort to be constructive rather than negative, I do have some clinical advice...

Countless posts have referred to various disinfection methods for your hands, hand sanitizer being chief among these. So, a word about hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer DOES work, BUT it must be used correctly or it is useless!

If you are going to use hand sanitizer, you must apply it to your hands and then thoroughly rub it all over your hands, including in between your fingers, AND it is absolutely CRITICAL that you allow the sanitizer to completely dry on your hands before touching anything! Do NOT wipe your hands on a paper towel or other (pants, towels, etc) to dry them off! This, from an esteemed long time friend and physician who is the chief resident in the ER at UCLA Medical Center.

He put it like this...It's not a percentage issue, it's all or nothing. Even some people who sort of understand the concept think if you apply hand sanitizer and only allow it to dry 50% then it is at least 50% effective. This is NOT the case. If you apply sanitizer and allow it to dry 50%, it is 0% effective, 75%...still 0% effective. It must dry fully to be effective at all. He stated the biggest problem is, people are in a hurry, so they squirt some on their hands thinking they're accomplishing something and quickly wipe it off to dry their hands. This is actually worse than doing nothing at all because it gives people a false sense of security. His ultimate take away from the whole discussion was, washing your hands with warm water and soap is every bit as effective as any sanitizer will be just for these reasons, and suggested that really the only time people should consider using hand sanitizer is when they're away from soap and warm water.

Incidentally, the same holds true for any antibacterial. So anti-bacterial wipes for example, same thing, you need to dry your hands fully dry with the anti-bacterial before it's effective.

That is all.
