I don't recall the nazis being able to "vaporize" dead bodies either..... Seems to be some things lost in translation here

Now that is a bit creepy innit..... Yikes
The fictional novel tells the story of a Chinese military lab that creates a new virus to potentially use as a biological weapon during wartime. The lab is ironically located in Wuhan, China and the made-up virus is called Wuhan-400.

We might want to refer to the planes as super spreaders. They seem to be doing that trick very nicely.... almost like it was planned.

2020年2月13日武汉冠状病毒大流行第20季
This contains a collection of stories from the region. It does contain the dog one previously mentioned, i would of dropped this video except for what came near the end at the 21 minute mark.
It is Miles Guo talking about the crematoriums and how they have been upgraded due to the SO2 story getting out and I imagine a backlog of work. A new process of gasification is getting installed, same as what the Nazis used during the concentration camps. A near instant vaporisation without the SO2 pollution. Lot quicker than the previous 5 hours.
Sun Chunlan and Han Zheng are the CCP members giving the orders. Chongqingm, Shanghai and Anhui must have their upgrades complete in 24 hours. Beijing is also on the list for upgrades to their crematorium.
With the SO2 cloud over Wuhan i did hear some people bring up a smelter in the area as a possible source. With pretty much all industry shut down and the city in quarantine I do consider the crematoriums as the likely source when combined with the many videos that have leaked out.

I was going to buy a couple of half-face masks. But considering sterilizing after each use, I'm reconsidering the purchase. Also, this brings to mind showering and washing clothes after being out... Disinfecting the shower and washing machine after use. Am I getting carried away?
Decontamination before entering the home is definitely worth considering. Having a plan in place avoids mistakes, disorder or panic later. What levels you go to really depends on how bad it is and how exposed you are. At this stage it could be less severe than flu, or it could kill a sizeable part of the population. Currently it could be argued that simply washing your hands is appropriate.
The other end of the scale would be very carefully stripping outside, washing in dilute bleach, then treating all your gear in a similar fashion before bring it inside. Though at that end of the scale, you would avoid all contact and ideally be going into quarantine area at home for a number of weeks before being allowed in the house proper... Extreme.
Proper half face respirators can be used much longer than disposables. The filters themselves say 6 months with 5 year shelf life. There will be a safety margin here too so could be longer. The mask itself though should be disinfected every time and the filter handled carefully since it is infected.
Besides the virus though, economic collapse could be equally devastating, so considering some preparation is sensible, regardless of the virus
If the SHTF, I have a plan for decontamination. This is really worst case stuff though, in case it has a high mortality and is highly transmissible. I have not done any trial runs on it yet, but it will be about as good as I can do.
I used to work on and off in clean rooms. Some to were to protect dust sensitive products, a couple were to protect me from chemicals. So I am fairly familiar with the gowning and degowning procedure.
First of all, I will be the only one going out, and that is only when needed. I am trying to limit it to maybe 3 times over 6 months. I have food and others stores enough for 6 months for my family.
I have Tyvec suits ready, with hoods, and booties. Booties and gloves should be duct taped to the suit around the wrists and ankles. A respirator with P100 filters, and goggles.
I purchased a fogger, and a hospital disinfectant called VitalOxide, which kills 99.999% of all bacteria and virus.
Before coming inside, I will have my wife fog me down with it from a distance of about 5ft. Making sure to get the filters on the mask, gloves, booties, etc. Wait about 2 minutes for it to work.
Remove and dispose of the gloves and booties outside. Remove the Tyvec suit outside and hang it up for another spraying later.
Clean my hands with alcohol, after removal. Come inside and disrobe in the laundry room, putting cloths in the washer right away. Get a shower and change.
Put on a new pair of gloves, and the respirator, take the fogger out to the car, and fog the inside of the car, especially the steering wheel.
I will also give the Tyvec suit another spritz, just to make sure.
Clean the fogger with wipes, remove and dispose of gloves, sanitize on hands again. Remove mask.
That about covers it. About the best that can be done in a home environment anyway.
The Stand is a postapocalyptic horror/fantasy novel by American author Stephen King. It expands upon the scenario of his earlier short story "Night Surf", and presents a detailed vision of the total breakdown of society after the accidental release of a strain of influenza that had been modified for biological warfare causes an apocalyptic pandemic, killing off over 99% of the world's population. I’m not a doctor, but it looks like Covid-19 is less than lethal outside of China. Why? Is it genetics, or is it that the heavy pollution has already damaged the immune systems or the lungs of the Chinese people? What say you ATS?

Grim situation Compared with the rest of the nation, the epidemic in Wuhan has not yet been controlled, and many challenges and unanswered questions remain, said Chen Yixin, the deputy head of a central government group to guide epidemic control work in Hubei. These challenges include lackluster response, combating misinformation, as well as evaluating the total number of infected patients and tracking the spread of the infection, he said at a meeting on Wednesday.

I really wish I didn't watch that clip of the kids being loaded into a body bag. My heart aches. So innocent and young and their lives were taken. # whatever killed them. Ugh, it pains to think about how they must've felt before they passed.
