Or simply employ numerous financial loopholes to not pay any at all in quite a few nations all over the globe.

If you're a multi-billionaire, then you should be taxed appropriately, and "they" certainly are not.

Trumps tariffs and trade war will hurt poor people and small businesses far greater than big business, that's a given.

Tariffs and taxes place a financial burden on those getting taxed and tariff'd.

In both instances, they pass on the cost to the consumer.

The last time I read we pay China around 74 million per day in interest only. If China wanted to cash in their nuts we would be screwed. It would be nice to whittle that down a bit. As is, they kind of own us.

China holds a lot of US debt.. they could technically cash in, however it would also sink them - far deeper, never to be seen again. It would crash the dollar and thus utterly destroy the Chinese economy which is heavily reliant on their own currency being weak.
