I totally agree. Maduro definitely needs to go. Starving his citizens and then ordering their demise is dictatorship at its worst

I have this bridge i would like to sell you. I might just turn this sale into an auction. Anyone else in need of a bridge?. Drop your bid right here.

It looks like Presidential Candidate BERNIE SANDERS actually likes MADURO's style of governing Venezuela! Look what Bernie said during a CNN Town Hall tonight.

During a town hall on CNN on Monday, Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) defended his refusal to call Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro a dictator by saying that while the last election in Venezuela wasn’t democratic, “there are still democratic operations taking place” in Venezuela.

Moderator Wolf Blitzer asked, “Senator, why have you stopped short of calling Maduro of Venezuela a dictator?”

Sanders answered, “Well, he — I think it’s fair to say that the last election was undemocratic, but there are still democratic operations taking place in that country.

Why would he order genocide, that would openly invite the u.s. or other outside sources to intervene.

The U.S. has been looking for a regime change in Venezuela for awhile and with a u.s. friendly opposition leader on the side, I'm not sure Maura would be stupid enough to provoke.

Because he is an evil man. He sees his power slipping away, and is so angry he wants to the people who are rejecting him and his policies to pay the ultimate price. It makes perfect sense, I mean, he ordered his soldiers to destroy supplies (medicine and food) imported from abroad so his starving people wouldnt get it, so are you really surprised he would do this?

The aid was destroyed from the Colombian side, by the people on that side also

You don't know but what they show you and tell you to think and feel. lol

Trucks burning on the Colombian side of the bridge.

Some person next to the burning trucks, again on the Colombian side. You can see the Venezuela cops on the background, far away from this guy, he is touching something with his left hand, helping himself up with it

What was the thing he was supporting himself on and that it is now in his hands? Oh! A gas container? Again the same person as before, how weird there aren't many people around but he is not afraid of getting close to a big fire, while holding a gas container like that. Again the entire fire is happening on the Colombian site. No cops no one intervening, this guy must be a badass since no one is stopping him at all

How fake

Zero oil?

Zero oil for our cost... And before the war it was over 25,000 and didn't get back up there until last year. Hell 2015 was like 4000. So what is your point, once again what did we get for 2 trillion that we could have done much better by not even going to war....

I'm not defending the Iraq war but America is in the War business. That's why they call it the Military Industrial complex.

Some companies profit from war and they call the shots.

Bull crap.

The WELFARE Industrial complex is the biggest GD monstrosity we've ever known.

And the Green New Deal ever passes we WOULD end up like Venezuela.

No questions about it. We need to take down Maduro right now and let the people of Venezuela impart popular justice with the most barbaric method. The defected sergeant openly declared Maduro ordered genocide.

He also said the government released all prisoners of the jails.

No "WE" do not.

Let South Ameica handle their own damn business.

Side note- get that wall built before the flood hits or pay a severe price.

Who is this Guiado person? he seems very shady.

Very Shady.

Imagine if Pelosi had ruled the elections were invalid and that she was now the President? This is exactly what Guiado is doing and the USA is backing him up. Everyone involved with this on our side should be held accountable.

a reply to: DBCowboy

I used to live in South Florida and the city of Weston (just west of Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, FL) has been taken over by Venezuelans all moving in in recent years to escape socialism in their home country. It is referred to as “little Venezuela”. But I agree with DBCowboy if the Venezuelans want freedom they need to fight for it themselves. The US should not fight their civil war. If they want freedom then earn it. Remember they gave up their freedom electing progressive leftists into power. No American blood should spill for their freedom. The Venezuelans need to spill their own blood to appreciate the freedom that they earn. It is not the place of the US Tto fight their war or fund it. The US can use political/economic pressure to assist the cause of democracy and freedom. But my point if all these Venezuelans who have been living in the US for as much as a decade are not willing to go back to Venezuela and fight for their countrymen’s freedom then why should any American citizens risk their lives for what the Venezuelans do not value enough to fight for themselves?

Guiado has now run away. He did not achieve his stated intention to turn the military and remove Maduro, so he popped of to Brazil who have said they no longer support his ambition to wrest Venezuela from it's legally elected government.
