Russians are stating over 70 Su-57 will be in service by 2027. They had been saying 76. Are the production numbers dropping again?

They're watching, but apparently not all of them and not that closely at times:

yes, but I was thinking of the 2nd picture. The...piece of rusted metal? sticking out of the port. I am hoping Zaph will tell me its not something scary, as in OMG Vlad what did you use?! scary.

Possibly a Narwhal Tusk.

I thought it was in a bad situation. Very hard at the angle it is mounted to stick it in an enemy fighter. Needs to be straight out the nose.

I get the feeling that they could manufacture a lot more but need external orders to provide the funds for their own fleet.

Maybe it's a retractable nozzle for refueling? Or it's the gun which is still being installed, and not in its final position?

well that's a whole bunch of exposed fasteners.... and at uniform spatial intervals O(1-5 cm) which are of the order of typical radar wavelengths---great for constructive interference and specular reflection?

as its public I guess they have different 'real' manufacturing techniques for the real thing, or maybe not?

It seems useful in the ground attack role to take out long range artillery due to its low RCS.
