Transcripts from the meeting that is the subject of this thread have just been released I hear. Listening to a summary now On Hannity radio show. Lisa Page and Andy McCabe both verify that Rosenstein was serious about wearing a wire to trap the president. Lots of cursing from McCabe and Rosenstein. McCabe pushing back against Rosenstein illegal request.

It's amazing how much unknown elements within the US government are using the NYT as their platform to disseminate information, true or not, to the public. I think at this point we can call it deep-state media.

The Trump-friendly side of the White House leaked this to the Times. They did this, knowing that it's false, in order to make the claim as the basis for firing Rosenstein thereby allowing Trump to fire Mueller and end the Russia investigation before the Democrats come to power in January and are able to threaten impeachment.

The White House (both those loyal and disloyal) are operating as best they can to save the president from Democrats (despite the will of the people) and the Department of Justice to push through their conservative agenda behind the scenes.

Off-topic but relevant: those behind-the-scenes conservatives in the White House (as outlined in that NYT op-ed) are using Trump because they know he'll sign whatever they put in front of him, Pence is a danger to them because he has an ideology, it's Christian Theocracy but it's an ideology. Trump can be convinced of somethings but Pence cannot. Trump is a useful idiot to the conservative leaders in this country.

It appears to me that the tables have turned and it's the deep state having problems with pooping or going blind. They're starting to get desperate and evermore erratic and apparently starting to turn on each other.

Back to the story, McCabe--through his lawyers--admits to taking notes memorializing some of this but says he doesn't know how the NYT got his memos. I'm thinking he was the main source since he feels betrayed and angry with his former partners in crime as he awaits to see the outcome of his criminal referral.

Having said that, I don't trust his version of events in his memos anymore than Comey's notes after speaking with Trump. They are spun to what they think is their advantage and obviously disingenuous attempts to cover their own asses while flinging pure poo at others.

Well I believe, as I posted many times, the Trump presidency is a black psychological operation and the MSM being a puppet of the deep state is employed in this effort.

A part of that effort is revealing Trump horrible character and expanding on it and using these stories to unsettle him to do more damage

The MSM has always been screwed up. Trump criticizes the media for one reason. Their negative stories about him. It understandable
