After checking figures it appears that at least a clear motive could ascertained for faking one's death in this case. Tupac has sold more records than any other rapper, far more than Eminem, with the bulk of his sales coming postmortem. Would he have sold this many he lived? No...not even close. L

^Yes, exactly. His death resulted in making him the most popular, best-selling rapper of all time. Which made his family and acquaintances filthy rich after his death.

He sold millions and millions more albums just because of his death, including releasing MOST of his new content AFTER he died.

So all of that is established fact, and the basic conspiracy theory is just that he faked his death, to go hide and enjoy his millions of dollars, out of the spotlight, on a beach somewhere for the last two decades.

And that's a very common theory, which started immediately upon his death in '97.

The Kasinova thing is a very small detail compared to all of that very common theory that I just described.

I didn't think most commenters would be grabbling with the basic idea that he staged his death 21 years ago; I thought that was a very common idea since 1997.

Faked his death and is gonna live an anonymous life for all these years.? What you smoking? He was an attention whore, so this flies in the face of pure B.S...……….....maybe this rapper started this rumor to help sell his wares. Oh, yea, Elvis works at the KFC in Gary, Indiana and his shift supervisor is Michael Jackson...…...the new area wide manager is Prince.

Well, so you really can't imagine someone wanting to be rich, and out of the spotlight? (Instead of being rich, and constantly IN the spotlight?)

It's just basic human nature.

By '97 he couldn't probably walk down the street without a mob of paparazzi. I find it very easy to imagine he wanted to leave the constant publicity and go drink pina coladas on a beach somewhere lol.

So Kasinova was 9 when Tupac died at age 25.

Seems to be just a little bit of an age gap there huh?

Clones don't just grow over night. They still have to mature.

Lol I'm guessing you're joking, right?

Kasinova isn't cloned, and he's not releasing his own voice. He is releasing 2Pac's voice. That's the whole idea...

How do you know? Are you in on it? Why are you leaking this information, which is surely to end his career?

I believe it is clones. They transfer the conscious of the dead into the clone.

But I'm not into conspiracies.

I think you're being sarcastic. I'm not "in on" anything, more than anyone else who has occasionally wondered if 2Pac staged his death.

Yeah I see that now.

I think for this scenario to have merit, a nephew or similar would make more sense...keep it in the family so to speak.

OK, well they COULD be related, right? They're both light-skinned black men; Kasinova could be his nephew or something. 2Pac left behind a wealthy family and estate

So, a cousin or someone related, who they kept under wraps for all this time, coming out with the same voice, and everyone can tell? You believe this?

Yet disbelieve clones? Which are verified and proven?

So many singers come back to life after reports of their death... people are so blind.

Dude whether or not Kasinova is related, is not relevant.

All he seems to be is a false celebrity, who lets 2Pac release his music under his name and image.

So the recorded music has 2Pac's voice, NOT Kasinova's voice.

The only thing Kasinova is doing is dancing and lip-syncing along with 2Pac's voice.

One big give-away is that Kasinova's speaking voice does NOT sound like 2Pac at all, but we're supposed to believe that his voice changes whenever he stands at a microphone? No way lol.

And by the way, when 2Pac was still around, his unique voice sounded exactly the same whether he was rapping or talking in an interview.

Doesn't sound too much like him to be honest, a little bit? but I've heard lots of others that sound more like him than this, so I'm not the least bit convinced.

This is the Elvis effect.. people want it to be true

Michael Jackson was in debt, when he died his sales skyrocketed.. this is par for the course when it comes to the death of a big celebrity.. David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Prince.. they all sold like crazy post mortem, this proves nothing other than death of a celebrity triggers nostalgia and sales.. the estates of these celebrities tend to milk it for everything it's worth, releasing unreleased albums is also common .. Artists often record and don't release lots of work they aren't finished with or aren't happy with.. Jackson had a lot of that kind of material.. Wayne Static from Static-X has allegedly a ton but his girlfriend took her life before she planned to release it.. I'm a musician and I have about 10 hours of unreleased music that I hope never gets heard lol.. but I'm no celebrity.

Point is, there's nothing unusual about it at all, but it makes for an interesting conspiracy theory.. Tupac did have lots of stuff in the pipeline before he was killed, those in control of his estate were keen on putting it out there .. that's how it works, his life was a business after all, it always is.

Edit:

Look at Elvis's estate now, hid death launched his value into the stratosphere and beyond, he's worth more now than he would be had he not kicked the bucket on the toilet years ago.. it's just how it goes.. unfortunately these artists are viewed merely as a product to those that control the brand.

Of course the estate loves these conspiracy theories too, it is free advertisement.

Well I haven’t heard anyone that sounds like 2Pac until this guy. I’ve even looked at YT vids of sound-alike rappers, but only this guy sounds like him.

To compare the voice to 90s 2Pac, it’s almost exactly the same. Maybe now it is very slightly lower-pitched, but remember that anyone’s voice is going to be slightly different after 2 decades (not to mention how easy it is nowadays to digitally alter someone’s voice with Auto-Tune etc.).

But anyway please post links if u think someone else sounds more like him.

2Pac had one of the most unique, distinctive voices ever heard.

By the way, there's no way that Eminem could ever be the most popular rapper ever. I'm explaining this for people who are not fans of hip-hop. Eminem's music has no soul. 2Pac's music is overflowing with soul, emotion, thoughtful reflection, etc.

Non-fans of hip-hop might just hear about 2Pac as a thug, and yes he did sometimes rap about violence, and drug-use, drug-dealing etc. But he was more than that. For example, he had one song that was nothing but a love song FOR HIS MOM.

OK now Eminem's music can probably be fairly described as lacking any meaning, for the most part. He is a genius for the technical aspect (i.e. he rhymes together very long multi-syllable words and phrases, that many people would have never thought of). He's also funny at times. But there's usually little else of any substance in his music. Check out his song "Rap God" to see some amazing rhymes and speed-rapping, and a few laughs, but there's just no meaning to the whole song.

So yeah, regardless that Eminem is brilliant for rhyming words and phrases that don't really rhyme, 2Pac had substance in his music that Eminem could never create. That's why 2Pac is so iconic around the world. Eminem's technically-impressive rhyming, without substance, doesn't compare.

So... 2Pac couldn't have faked his death, because you called him an attention whore?

Let's get real. If I was going to list off the things that 2Pac loved, attention would be at the bottom of the list.

Here, I'll list the things the he loved, off the top of my head:

He loved music.

He loved weed.

He loved women and sex.

He loved alcohol.

Money.

Guns.

He loved black people, he loved Mexicans, and he probably loved all people.

Now after all that, to a lesser extent, maybe you could say he loved attention, but even then, he loved music more than he loved attention. (And he loved everything else more than attention, like money, weed, women, etc.)

I guess attention-whore would fit more for modern day music artists that have no substance to their music. Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, etc.

2Pac had actual substance in his music, which is bigger than just wanting attention lol.

As for finding it hard to imagine him leaving the spotlight:

It boils down to being rich and being in the public spotlight everyday, and having to go on tour performing all the time, OR choosing to vanish and multiply his wealth, while sitting on a beach. It's common sense, which is more appealing.

Listen to what you are saying.....think thru it really damn hard and try to put some logic behind it...…….That's right, there is no logic there to be had.

Everything I said is logical, and your comment is meaningless.

Let me try to put it in simpler terms for you lol.

Is it easier and more fun to work for a living?

Or is it easier and more fun to vanish, and become more wealthy, and then sit on a beach for the rest of your life.

Those are the two choices. Which is easier and more fun? You have two guesses lol.

Tupac certainly was a modern day poet verging on prophet and has given so many young kids of different backgrounds and generations a positive perspective and hope. Especially those from downtrodden, abusive and disenfranchised backgrounds. Even countless "privaledged white kids" found solace in his words. It is amasing how many little kids I still see wearing his T-Shirts years later in Australia he certainly is alive in artistic spirit.

He was not a real thug he went to acting school was articulate and well spoken as a youth. Although he was raised by family associated with the black panther party and his mother was in jail whilst pregnant before his birth. Fame and notoriety draped him in Timberland boots and Gucci clothes, women and drugs. Tupac was an actor at heart, and life was his stage. He grew to fit the shoes too become Tupac the "gangster rapper".

Regarding the conspiracy of Tupacs life after death. I was always suspicious of his never ending back catalog of music. How he managed to record 10 or more albums on top of his already released music? Considering his partying and hectic schedule at such a young age.

Also Tupac's Makeveli albulm and name change before his death unless it was orchestrated by Suge Knight as a ruse? The name adapted from that of
Niccolò Machiavelli
who wrote The Art of War that laid down strategies concerning war and advocated to“Fake your death to fool your enemies".. Was suspicious?

Tupacs Poem: The Rose That Grew From The Concrete.
Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack
in the concrete
Proving nature's laws wrong it learned 2 walk
without having feet
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams
it learned 2 breathe fresh air
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else even cared!

If your not still with us, R.I.P Pac, you helped me through some hard times with your words.

Life goes on!

He's gone... he was brilliant, but he's gone.. and this will go on for years just as people believe elvis is still alive, and michael.. and many believe they are alive for the same reasons.. it's, as I said.. par for the course..

And again, the estate loves this stuff so you won't see them argue against it because it's free attention and adds value to the "product" that is the artist.. to me it's kind of sick, but it is what it is.. As for asking me to hunt down all of the tupac sound alikes? sorry I don't have time to do that, but you can go on youtube and find dozens.. it's nearly 5am and I've been working all weekend so I just got back to this.. but he's been dead for a long time now, it's silly to not expect that he doesn't have a ton of imitators out there, his voice is distinct but not impossible to mimic.. what is unique about him is his skill ..

However.. I'm pretty sure the guy is dead.. I saw the autopsy photos, I've studied the case, I've read about the witness stories.. It sucks, and I know I'm not convincing you .. this theory will never die until it's so many years gone by that it's impossible for him to be alive.. the Elvis thing is still going.. Elvis is actually more believable .. Tupac's body was definitely him and he was definitely dead.. but for those that want to believe it? I say.. carry on..

Mate, I was in Darling Harbour in 2013 walking with my wife, this guy who looked like 2pac ( but much older)was walking the opposite direction, I turned and said to the mrs “ hey, was that not 2pac?”
She replied “ well it sure looked like him”
I couldn’t help but turn and follow him for around 30 metres and grabbed the back of his shirt around the collar, pulled it down only to reveal what looked like a nasty scar about the size of a 20cent piece, instantly he and the big guys turned around, our eyes met , and I said to him “ay man..... Changes”
He replied “yo tripping, get him off me”
The big guys pushed me well back while 2pac walked on, until I agreed to stop where I was.
Since that day, I studied the rapper, more of his music, his injuries in the shooting that apparently killed him, and what possibilities could have arisen from faking ones death.
I assure you all, I’m not a billy bunt, I know what I saw. His injury I saw is similar to one of the gunshots from his apparent execution. Anyways, Elvis is dead, maybe 2pac isn’t.

I guess Elvis is alive too in your mind, or are you racist and insist Elvis is dead...…...is Whitney Houston singing backup on the new rappers CD. Or is that Prince I hear mixing the music...….I hear Anthony Bourdain is cooking everyone dinner after the show.... all complete insane comments......just as your OP. As I said before no logic in any of this and trying to make logic out of it is insane....Is Emelia Earhart gonna fly them to their gigs?

Regarding the argument that many rappers have sounded like 2Pac:

No, actually, no one has sounded like they have the actual same voice, until Kasinova.

The YT vid in the OP has a comment that lists off rappers who sound similar:

RAPPERS THAT SOUND LIKE 2PAC.
1. BLAC HAZE
2. KRAZY
3. THE REALEST

Well so they sound similar, but each one is clearly not actually 2Pac himself.

Kasinova sounds like he is.
