Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone – Job 38:4-6 (NIV)

In previous chapters Job complains to God about His allowing continuous calamity to beset his life. As part of God’s response to Job, He points out that Job’s perspective is limited due to his relatively short span of life, limited knowledge, and limited experience. In contrast, God not only existed from eternity but created the entire world with all of its complexity and wonder.

I've been asking the same questions OP.... and this is what I was directed to.

God does not experiment.

Also we are victims of terms, translations, revisions, and traditions that cloud our modern day understanding of the events which were the history of the creation of this World. Trust first, that it does make sense.

First He has a desired outcome to His efforts as anyone who plants a garden are bakes a loaf of bred. . But when he plants His garden he gives everything he put in place freedom and choice. If He makes all the choices then nothing has freedom, so He gives it freely even at the possible loss of the very things He loves.
All who choose His direction, returns to Him but all who chooses their own direction, If sinful according to His wisdom, they are not worthy to be in His kingdom when the harvest arrives. He of course is the only one who has the ability to judge the quality of each person during that harvest.

We are not His first garden. When you plant an orchard, you plant more then one tree, thus the stars of the heavens (many, many trees, in a zillion different states of progression.) Evils is
We, our world, has had a unique mission as compared to the others.

There are so many levels to His kingdom, there are so many levels of intelligence and righteousness and glory. Like oil and water, like heavy metals and light earth all settle in the level from which they are. Each have their place, duties and progression. He opens the doors to progression and but He gives choice so we and they can choose the outcome.

His gifts to all there is comes from His capacity of Love, which if we could behold it, we would not be able to remain mortal.

17) I don’t believe all that stuff!

I don't trust the Bible. To be fair I don't trust any religions.

Time after time throughout history, religions promise humanity of love and compassion. Yet we end up killing each other.

Time after time throughout history religions lie humanity with god's blessing and forgiveness. We end up threatening each other with force conversion.

Time after time throughout history religions lie humanity with promise of heavenly kingdom. We end up robbing each other lands and properties.

Time after time throughout history religions lie humanity with promise of free will. We end up being enslaved and controlled.

Religions has been given the chance to govern humanity to prove their worth. They have failed miserably. The only thing worth is their big mouth.

How many millions more lives should religions take to hell, before enough is enough?

Let's face it.Religions simply can't leave people to pray their god(s) personally. There will always someone or groups of people who come at your door and force their view. It's their missionary. It's their duty. Either you like it or not. And that's a big problem.

There are so many ways to cheat people for money and support. Preaching hypocrisy about god's words is one of them.

There is no honesty in religion. There is no path to godhood. The only path for religion is collecting tithe so a group of priests could live stylish while the poor remain on streets.

Answer: I really knew many of you didn’t before I started writing this OP, but the following truths hold whether you believe then or not. If God is perfect, then LOVE is one of His qualities (1 John 4:8), and the love has to be perfect love. For “love” to really be perfect love. There have to be two parties. (One party loving the same party is not LOVE, it not love, for self love is not real love). God therefore creates a second party, MAN (Heb 2:6) on which to manifest this attribute, if the man does not have freewill and free choice, then he cannot return God’s love. As an Automan cannot love”. The man must have a choice (Josh24:15), and to have a choice there must be a third party.

So the eternal triangle is completed by the cherub who becomes a serpent. You can choose him (2 Cor 4:4) or you can chose God (1 Kings 18:21. So God allows this cherub to appear and tempt mankind so mankind can freely chooses God as an object of love. Adam chooses his wife as an object, Eve Chooses knowledge, as all good intellectuals do. The man falls, God redeems the man by bearing the entire blame (Rom 5:6-19) for both the man and the Cherub. He does this sin bearing by coming down and dying, as a man! (Phil 2; Isa 53; Rom 1; 2 Cor 3).

Having absolved Himself of ALL guilt, it now possible for man to be confirmed sinless forever by receiving a sinless Saviour as his own (John 1:10-12).

After billions of innocent souls lost by god's wraith, don't you think it's too late already? It is very easy to destroy people's trust. It's hard to gain that trust back. Without trust, how can there be love?

Last Question. What will you do with Jesus Know what God has done for you?

I have nothing to offer. I have asked for forgiveness a long time ago. Now I'm too tired to speak with god. I'm not interested in heaven. I just want to rest in peace for eternal.

My OP was all from the Bible, so it is Biblical answers from Gods Word's as found in the AV. There is not any No or maybe's. It is an issue of belief. What man has done is corrupt the word of God for a profit making God's word seem confusing but there is only one whole complete and preserved Bible in English and that is the AKJV Bible.

Just believe and then make a choice.

It a kingdom, a society, that can only be found in the bible. It is God's Kingdom one that is physical that will be on this current earth and on the new earth for all eternity. Men of every creed, religion, socialist, democracy, Republic, Dictatorship, Monarchy, Empirical and Economical back ground for 5,000 years have been trying in their flesh to bring in the golden age believe man will and has evolved enough to attain the golden age where all men live happily ever after with no more war.

However in every attempt to bring it in with war after war all we are f=left with are dead men to testify that man's way does not result in anything but death no matter which generation we are in. And our current Generation is leading straight into another great and tragic war.

Even as I post, this very day, US troops under command of the UN, are being mobilized into the west pacific preparing for war. It seems the UN find US troops a bit more expendable than EU troops, plus Trump did threaten so if anything happens it will be the US fault.

But make no mistake the UN thinks they can bring in the golden age with just a little war just like it has been since the day of Cain. They only true kingdom is of God and only He and his Christ can bring it in. Th UN will not bring about the bible verse of Isaiah placard on their Building "hey shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." They but take it out of context and forget that it is he that shall judge among the nations and rebuke Israel and cause this thing to happen, not the UN.

All the UN can do is cause more wars. Did you know that more ways have been fought since the start of the UN than all the wars before it? An every war that has been fought has been done thinking they could bring in the kingdom peace of the golden age.

The Q and A Above answers all including the ones you ask and state above. either you didn't read them closely enough or skimmed through them. I suggest you and that includes everyone else to reread and thing on the OP deeply then skip to post 3 for more detail as to why the OP was started.

No need for any of you to die in vain and useless wars of men to bring in a kingdom that is not ever going to be by the strength of men.

then you reality is deeply flawed if you deny man's basic human nature is that of sin. i.e. sexual debauchery, greed, power hungry, lazy, fleshly and so on, Only a fool would ignore that facts of mans sin as found int eh Bible especially the fall in Genesis 3.

Yes, many a war has been fought by religious means to being in a kingdom, and they were just as inept at it than the socialist UN who have sponsored more wars since its creation than all the wars before its creation.

It is sinful man trying to be the height of all things, man following the Darwinian from the primordial pool to he modern ape-man. But all it will do is as it has done before usher in more wars, with men like you fighting for an idea that ma cannot attain apart from God, perfection. For God is a racist, a separatist, a segregationist but he is holy and we are not so he does not answer to us, we must answer to him.

Hold your horses, pal, mine is a genuine question I'm asking Raggedy... still on topic.

And actually no, not all the answers are there. Perhaps you could also tell me: is your God omnipotent? is your God benevolent?

We don't have "Free will" if there is a threat of violence behind it. ie ...or burn in Hell forever

God is literally responsible for EVERYTHING according to the Bible:

I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things. Isaiah 45:7

So He caused the Serpent to fall and tempt Eve? Some great experiment?

If I believed the Story.

Technicaly He did, by giving us a choice.
its not on God how you choose to live, its on you.

God has created a scenario with free will indeed...free will for ALL.

And has done nothing about any of it at all...even allowed other parts of Creation to destroy the free will of other parts.

This has been going on for a very long time...total detachment and yet finally it grows tired of holding to its original program of free will for all.

The lessons to be learnt have all already been learnt...time for god to awaken and realize its time is up...The entirety of itself is now waiting for the next chapter...the free will of all to Create something different.

I was reading the bible the other day (exodus 4:6), and it was about God giving signs to Moses - like turning his staff into a snake and back again, or other supernatural stuff to convince him and others that he was God.

Now why in the world would the creator of all things need to do anything to convince or persuade people of anything? Couldn't he just make it so? Why would God even intervene in the affairs of men?

When Moses did not want to do what was asked, "Then the Lord’s anger burned against Moses.." then he got upset. God gets upset and kills people?

Later - "At a lodging place on the way, the Lord met Moses and was about to kill him. But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son’s foreskin and touched Moses’ feet with it."

I don't know, it all sounds kinda hokey.

When you look at the list below common sense says there is no God.

The magnitude of human suffering throughout the world, throughout the ages argues against the existence of a loving God.
No prayer that could prove God’s existence has ever been answered.
According to the Bible, between 1500 BC and 1000 BC, an allegedly loving God ordered or participated in 135 separate incidents of murder; killing over 24,000,000 innocent men, women, children and fetuses. There is no documentation of these stupendous slaughters anywhere other than the Bible. He has not been seen or heard from since.
God only intervened on behalf of the Jews, and no one else. Thus one must conclude that his “appearances” were created by Jewish zealots intent on proving that “their” God is far superior to your God.
Anything that can be scientifically proved is presented incorrectly in the Bible.
Foundational stories (Creation, Adam, Eve, Flood, Ark, Exodus, Moses) never happened.
No corroborating archeological evidence has been found; contrary evidence has been found
No mention of of the Jews in ancient writings of Egyptians and Greeks
No mention of the Bible’s supernatural events mentioned in the writings of the Egyptians, Greeks or Romans
No mention of Jesus or his miracles in the ancient writings of the Romans.
Real bad things happen to good people, real good things happen to bad people.
An allegedly omniscient God constantly asks questions, has fears, human reactions.
God/Jesus are no different than religions of their times. I.e. virgin birth, sacrifice, suffering, raised deity, ad infinitum.
Other religions were well established in other parts of the world in 1500 BC – 1000 BC. There is no resemblance between these religions and the Jewish/Christian God. If the J/C God were universal, He would have destroyed their religions just like he tried to do with all the non-Jewish religions in the Old Testament because “His name is “jealous””.
The Jewish God made his presence known only to a select few, in a very small part of the world, long ago. Thus knowledge of the Judo/Christian God is based on the writings and oral tradition of men who wrote over 2000 years ago; then these writings were edited, combined, translated and copied multiple times in multiple languages, all by men with multiple agendas. This is a very tenuous scenario upon which to base a religion.
There are over 10,000 distinct religions. Within Christianity, there are 33,830 denominations. IF there were a universal God, there wouldn’t be 10,000 different religions.

A thread based on questions, which can not be proven and are only statements of faith (gnoses) ... yeah that is par for the course.

So what if the answer to any single question you posed is no?

Where does that leave you.

MY Faith puts the burden of my existence firmly in my own hands and thus I and only I can be blamed or praised for my actions. My Gods expect me to stand on my own two feet, and exist.
