The number of seats depends on the population of each state which in turn determines the number of districts. However, every state is constitutionally guaranteed at least one seat no matter how small its population. The number of seats in the House is currently 435.May 7, 2011

Yep, and then there are the Trump haters who claim this never happened. BTW, if it wasn't so expensive I would ask the Trump administration to check the voters from this last election because you can be 100% certain that there were illegals, and even "residents" who were allowed to vote in the Presidential election in liberal states.

Am I missing something here? Like where it says non-citizen are allowed to vote? This is about granting drivers licenses to illegal aliens (which should be used to locate and report.)

There is a law automatically registering citizens to vote when they get their drivers licenses, but in the real world, there is no law granting non-citizens the right to vote, drivers license or not.

This should probably go in the hoax bin, or maybe "dissecting disinformation."

ETA - that's not to say this couldn't somehow make it easier to vote illegally, but do people in the country illegally really want to commit such a crime, just to cast a vote in a state that will swing FAR democrat with or without them??

OK AB 60 license is treated different. This is a scare tactics that makes assumptions that aren't true. These licenses can't be used for anything other then driving period. So stop fear mongering

What is California AB-60?
California Assembly Bill 60 ( AB-60) is a bill passed into law that, in effect, allows illegal immigrants to the United States to apply for a California driver's license with the CA Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Previous to this bill, driver's licenses were only issued to California residents who could prove their legal presence in the United States, usually by providing a Social Security number. Per AB-60, a California resident who cannot prove their legal presence in the U.S. can still apply for a driver's license as long as they can prove their identity AND California residency, as well as pass all required tests for an original driver's license.

This is a special driver's license that:

May NOT be used for identification purposes.
MAY be used to drive anywhere throughout the state of California.
Has a distinguishing feature and notice on the front of the license indicating that it is for driving purposes only, per the AB-60 law (i.e. “DP" instead of “DL").
Cannot be used against the license holder to determine their immigration status or citizenship, or detain them in any way for reasons other than valid traffic violations.

a friend is a gun dealer in calif and all the DL for illegals have printed PLAINLY on the front FEDERAL LIMITS APPLY

you can not register to vote or buy guns with these DLs

The Democrats are trying to destroy the USA, they can't do it with citizen votes, so they are all for illegals coming here, and voting. This is politics 101 in these days, everyone should easily be able to see the agenda at work here. California voted for Reagan, they voted a Republican Governor not that long ago, now that is an impossibility. The plan at work.

Except this post is about a change to the law that auto registers them to vote unless they check a box saying don't.

As to what the id itself says, that would be great if they have voter ID laws. Thanks for your support for those laws.
