For the new visitors to this thread, here's a little FYI on how this thread works.

Artists sometimes posts random avatars which you can take and use as your personal avatar.

You can also drop a request for a specific design and somebody will take your request and make you a custom avatar.

If you have a certain image you want incorporated just post it here. If you have a specific idea or colorscheme you let us know and we'll go wild with that.

We can give you all the info and help for setting up your avatar and we are always glad to provide.

I'm glad to see you guys here in this great thread and it feels great to finally be able to get some creative stuff done...

Currently not getting a whole lot done because my laptop is confiscated by a teenager who had a bookreport due tomorrow which she "only" had three months to complete so that'll be in use till tomorrow morning....some things never change.

Anyway...have a happy halloween!!!

Okay...as always...here"s a rough setup to probe which way you wanted to go with this xmas avatar.



This still looks terribly pixilated but I have to know if you want to make it more candid with perhaps a santa in between the phoenix's claws or if you want to go for the more serieus ice-effect phoenix...

Let me know which way you want to go with this...

Okay I lost the X-mas hat but it still needs something...



Christmassy...

I tried everything from presents to pine trees and decorative borders but nothing works.

This seagull is just too badass for Christmas decoration...lol

Got any suggestions?
