This go-to response of "must be a drone" is the new swamp gas. A drone the size of a volkswagon beetle? Sitting perfectly still for 10 minutes? It is either something truly extraordinary or it is fake...but what it's not is a drone.

We must widen our definition of "drone" to include alien probes.

False.

I think suddenly encountering higher winds at the surface caused an airliner to crash onto the Dallas airport runway, about 20 years ago.

False.

"The surface of the Earth exerts a frictional drag on the air blowing just above it. This friction can act to change the wind's direction and slow it down -- keeping it from blowing as fast as the wind aloft. Actually, the difference in terrain conditions directly affects how much friction is exerted. For example, a calm ocean surface is pretty smooth, so the wind blowing over it does not move up, down, and around any features. By contrast, hills and forests force the wind to slow down and/or change direction much more." Clap clap

how is anyone supposed to know what that means? and how is anyone supposed to accept your "false" statement? You should provide some evidence instead of just posting things that have no backing.

Most of the fun is in learning about what you are seeing.

Oh, wait. That's hard.

alright so the only thing that measures speed on that list is 'knot' units and then it shows the meter height.
in my quote it was basically saying being near ground level is mainly what slows wind down, so i could expect once you clear it by a certain amount the speeds will not keep increasing. but with buildings and mountains the speed should be considerably slower

It was a freaking balloon... c'mon ATS'rs, you are smarter than this.

If you were flying that helicopter and found yourself observing a f#$@ing alien craft, would you leave the scene? Maybe if you were scared, I suppose. But Ockham's Razor applies here folks.

If you believe something, why do you need proof?

Often.
Not always. Thus the claim is false.

proof to convince the world. just like any scientific acedemic will do.
some of you keep thinking if we see aliens, it'll be for the first time. as in no helicopters seen a craft, but the video will have the first time any humans have seen a craft. and that the humans will freak out and call for 100 helicopters. you act like aliens have never been on earth and we'll get footage of the first encounter. that the government hasn't been hiding anything. I think you don't have an open mind. There's thousands of possibilities of what a helicopter would do when approaching a craft. If you are expecting any certain one, I think you don't have an open mind.
And also don't have an open mind if you think the government has been fully honest that there's no aliens here.

An open mind is fine.
Just take care that your brain doesn't fall out.

Don't dispute actual evidence which may contradict your mindset. Or do, if you wish.

but we factually have a video of the balloon. it's logo is exactly horizonal and level with the ground, you can see the tether in the pics taken from the same time as this video was. so the tether was keeping the logo exactly horizontal and level to the ground. the first video the logo is not level. so can you explain that? i am not contradicting evidence. i am presenting it.

The balloon was no longer tethered.

Gosh, that was hard.

You almost seem like a disinfo agent though with the little amount of effort to look into this. The tethered photos were AFTER the original slanted black spot UFO sighting.

Ok.

What do you think it was? Other than unidentifiable, I mean.

A spacecraft? A lifeform? An inter dimensional phenomenon?
