I never understood this why they would corral people up in a situation like this. What if one of those people is another terrorist/shooter biding his time waiting until there is a large enough crowd to start his attack after his partner started it. He could inflict way more damage after people have been bunched up and moved into a secure area. Makes no sense.

I'm not feeling getting caught up in all the drama today, not watching videos or listening to scanners. It's been a hard one for me.

How could this even happen? Why have we had years of enhanced security? What good has it done?

CNN is reporting that the name of the shooter is Esteban Santiago and was carrying military ID's.

CBS - the Broward county mayor is saying they can't confirm the ID. Entire airport is being evacuated.

Fox News has up now that TSA announced there is a possible 2nd shooter still active.

but the thing is, if i can listen to the police and FD' s live radio feed then so can this potential second shooter. i think thats why this cat and mouse game is still going on.

Some flights are being diverted. CBS News seems just as confused. First they said there are no other shooters. Then reported on the FAA saying there is an active second shooter. They said someone called 911 after hearing shots fired in the parking garage. Live pictures are showing police running toward garage.
