ATS included as Fake News Site...

So now we (ATS) are being manipulated by the 'Russian Propaganda Machine' says this group of 'Independent Researchers' along with over 200 other sites that caused Clinton's loss. Is the writing on the wall that we here an ATS are about to be attacked?

And what about the MSM that were extremely biased? I suppose it is OK as long as you support their side and will repeat any lie about the other side you can come up with. This thing about 'fake news' is getting out of control and if people don't speak up about sites like ATS then they will end up dictating what is legit news and anyone they don't agree with should be shut down.

And I believe here anyway if you post bunk you will be called out in short order and have it sent to a hoax bin.

The report from PropOrNot, provided to the Post, identifies more than 200 websites that routinely pushed Russian propaganda to at least 15 million Americans, and found that false stories pushed on Facebook were viewed more than 213 million times. You may be surprised by some of the sites on the list (it seems even satirical fakes news sites are propagandists too)…

So what should happen to start push back about this 'basic book burning' plan to shut down sites the losing MSM is propagating? This can turn into an ugly event. Now let me state up front that there is false stories that certain people can't seem to understand and research for themselves. Maybe there should be a disclaimer? I don't trust this claimed "Independent Researchers". How much independence is really there and how much research did they do? Is it because they disagree with the story? Or is it truly false. Beforeitsnews comes to mind. I don't think ATS should be on the list. You know this is a conspiracy site for one and as I stated above false stories or news lasts about 30 seconds here before it is called out.

I read that thread, but this list of fake news sites was not included and the fact ATS is on it from the list of 'fake news sites' seems to be something I have not seen. I am sure if the mods deem it so they can close the thread, However, I think it needs to be made clear we here in our favorite community are being included as a target of these 'book burners' because we promote fake news and propaganda. I notice some sites conspicuously missing that promote left fake news.

ATS should be on the list. The site itself nor the owners, admins or mods generate fake news... but it sure does get life breathed into it here. I say this as a paying contributor.

No, if you come to a conspiracy site and believe everything you read then that is a personal issue. I notice that left leaning 'fake news' is ok apparently. Just like book burning of subjects you might not agree with is a problem, so is this witch hunt. The problem is it always starts with a legitimate concern and turns in something else entirely down the road. As I said, if you post bunk here you will be brought to task with a quickness.

Any site that isn't associated press linked, or major so called network news like ABC NBC CBS CNN are being called "fake news" because of how much actual fake news is being created and reported by ABC NBC CBS CNN. When Trump won the election and showed America just how pathetic and criminal these main stream news agencies really are, is when they went completely rouge on any and all competition and are now putting forth these lists.

Any news story can be verified without the need for any news agency to do it for anyone, so to tell someone that what they know is wrong because they didn't get the information from the "official" news agencies, of which there really is no such thing, is just a fat red herring.

I recall CNN telling the public that they are the only ones that can read the Wikileaks emails released because people can't because it is illegal. MSM is in panic mode because they have been heavily damaged by their own propaganda imho.

ATS has become a place where you can read about a mass cover-up of how Muslim rape gangs have molested 1 million white girls in UK only, immigrants burning down the refugee camp over Nutella, Hillary and Obama stink of sulfur and Joe Biden telling a 13 year old girl how horny he is in front of the cameras.
