Chicago man chokes 8-year-old girl in public bathroom

This smells like desperation to use violence done to a little girl as political fodder.

This has nothing at all to do with Trans* folks, or Obama or anything else.

In fact, it proves that the real need here is to make these public spaces SAFER for everyone.

No it's not sad. I've met some of these people. I have a friend who had a child who identified as a girl from age 3 and for you to think they are just cross dressers is silly. Their brain works the same as a woman. Not sure if you know this but men's and women's brains work differently and that can be tested and proven.

For you to think these people are just choosing this like how you choose what kind of music you like is uninformed. If you want to deny solid empirical evidence fine do so but you can't imagine how difficult it would be to be trans. You think it's easy for them?

When a man walks into a bathroom it is "implied" that he thinks he is a woman. Not "all men who think they are a woman dress as a woman". There will be more men who are pedophiles who will enter women's bathrooms, and many of these men if asked will claim "they think they are a woman inside", others would simply state "the law allows that person to be there". How do you differentiate who is who when Obama's law only cover "people who think they are a woman"?...

There are no guards that can read minds and know if a person really thinks he is a woman

Do we have electronic equipment that can read a person's mind and make sure they think they are a woman?...

Can that electronic equipment differentiate the reason for that person wanting to be in a woman's bathroom by reading each person's mind?...

The fact that it happened and a security guard just got arrested from stopping a man go into the woman's restroom days ago is bad enough.

Unless you're referring to a different incident, that "man" was a legitimate Trans-woman, who looks enough like a woman that it would be far more absurd to expect her to enter the men's room, and the security guard didn't stop her from entering the women's room, she physically dragged her out of the women's room.

Nobody is trying to force anything on you. Nobody wants you to make changes to your life. They want to use the bathroom in peace. It's as simple as that.

ok so i may seem harsh but i do not agree with a man being in a womans restroom whether or not they associate themselves as the opposite gender, you were born with a ding ling use the appropriate restroom, same for the girls that want to be guys. frankly keep your personal feelings to yourself and do whatever they want if it doesnt effect the rest of humanity. if those that get special rights cause they feel different from who they were born as where will the BS stop, do Otherkin get animal rights seeing as how they are human but have an association with something else. as to who and what happened and it shouldnt have, the mother should have kept a better eye on her daughter and went to the bathroom with her or it might not have helped but pedos need to die they deserve a death sentence and thats my thought on all this.

So, is the transgender bathroom issue the new doom porn... am I supposed to worry now whenever I go into a restroom that there will be a man (that doesn't really identify as a woman) claiming he does identify as a woman for the sole purpose that he can attack a female in a bathroom?

I've never had a problem or have read of a problem concerning the transgender bathroom issue/law before this law came up in the news.

Give me Nibiru any day! Maybe aliens have arrived and the only way to see them is with sun glasses... while we focus on who is or should be using what bathroom.
It doesn't take a bathroom for sick people to do horrible things.
