America, Why Do People Support Donald Trump?

It was a chilling moment. I realized that the "truth movement" was doomed by the downward shift of the middle of the statistical bell curve of the national I.Q. Decades of TV, football, on line porn, drugs, dance clubs and daytime televangelism had finally payed off.

And it set the stage for political candidates/campaigns that mimic mainstream media entertainment. The electorate is now a nothing more than another commodity to be manipulated and fooled by flashy, blustery reality stars posing as politicians. News programs "if it bleeds, it lead" market share oriented; stratified decisive camps competing for the opportunity to sell stuff to the gullible low information voters.

Campaigns are just entertainment to hang advertising on.

I guess I should be ashamed to be a part of TV, films and the MSM as SAG, IATSE but the money is almost obscene and the people want content....So be it...we give them what they want!

If you don't like it....turn it off and go ride your bicycle or start your own TV show. The digital age has opened the world of media to everyone.

I suppose I worded that poorly. Saying Trump is a bad candidate and dangerous and = to Hitler because of a cult of personality is an especially stupid tactic for a Sanders supporter to use. I was agreeing with you, and expanding on your point.

Read the Tarpley article. Trump, as Hitler did, repeats the big lie. "We gave Iran 150 billion dollars and got nothing in return." He said it over and over and over and it is a big lie.

He is scapegoating Mexicans as Hitler scapegoated the Jews, or hadn't you noticed?

The "Hitler Youth" is not there yet but the ad hoc paramilitaries are there, assaulting protesters at his meetings.

He is warlike. He wants to return to the Middle East and "Take the oil."

There are other things, like misogyny, which are present in his statements, that Tarpley's article elaborates on.

He is a troubled personality, as Hitler was. He is infantile and colicky. He's a grumpy baby. He is spiteful and impulsive, as Hitler was.

I don't know. It's like going into the Wisconsin thread and watching Trump supporters verbally savage Cruz with a level of viciousness I usually associate with leftists attacking something from the right.

Mexicans? No. Illegal immigration and open borders that are currently used by organized crime. Like sanders.

He wants zero troop deployments to the middle east. His foreign policy advocates a light footprint. Its similar to Sanders.

He wants to end government subsidy for things like ethanol, and vamp up domestic refining. Protect US jobs and make us energy independent....like the EPA was supposed to do over 40 years ago.

his statements are often taken out of context. 90% of what is thought about him in a negative light is based on quotes. Quotes following baited questions like the abortion thread one.

The people at his rallies are responding to George Soros paid agitators being violent. Most at his rallies are peaceful.

And your drone post stuck on a loop is what makes my more motivated.
