The translation I got:

The security forces also had to manage the ambient nervousness of people massed around the security perimeter.

This bit from the opening post is plain wrong.

Basically, Muslims in Belgium are protesting in the streets, and attacking police officers, because they are angry that the man behind the Paris terror attacks in 2015 has been caught. His neighbours knew where he was for all this time.

These people are defending a man who helped to kill 130 innocent French civilians.

I see not a single Muslim parade supporting the capture of this terrorist. Yet there is Muslims protesting against the capture of this terrorist. These people sheltered him and supported his actions. This makes me so furious.

There is nothing to support it, or the headline. It's fabricated. It's a hoax based on a highly-sensationalized story from a newspaper known for highly sensationalized stories.

So wonder how many people on the first page are gonna come in and admit they were wrong about this...

Yes. I know the OP is wrong.

It's not the first time an OP has completely distorted the facts as presented.

Right? So we're clear? That constitutes a hoax?

Isn't a hoax perpetrated by a member a banning offense?

Yes, the article and the OP are misleading. You can see how well it worked, with the responses earlier in the thread.

All to generate more hate against Muslims, and people are only too happy to let themselves be fooled.

Do you know the article in the OP is the next day?

I was wrong.

But the part of it being believable in this day and age is a sign of the times.

I don't even know what day is today, stop praying on the weak

I'm my defense:

Basically, Muslims in Belgium are protesting in the streets, and attacking police officers, because they are angry that the man behind the Paris terror attacks in 2015 has been caught. His neighbours knew where he was for all this time.

Op made it sound like it was happening now and not 3-4 days ago

This is not done... it's going to evolve into something...
another shootout and arrests or another attack...
But what would be a much bigger story and even more scary is that I feel it is being perpetrated by a much more powerful organization than isis...
Not saying isis is not involved only that the coordination is too slick...

A good lesson.

Don't believe what the OP tells you about something without checking it out first.

The importance of doing so is directly proportional to the sensationalist level of the claim.

You mean of a mindset?

No I mean sign of the times.

But speaking of mindset, what would that be?

Which mindset are you referring to?
People who are offended and afraid of the evil committed by members of Islam?
Or members of Islam who deny that members of thier faith committed them because of thier faith?

People with a confirmation bias so strong that they immediately accept anything (anything), at face value, which supports their bias.

You danced around that rather eloquently...
I was hoping to draw some bias from you...
I see you will be having none of that....
