There is indeed no indication of any riot whatsoever, and until any further information is produced, we might have to chalk this up as propaganda.

Yeah, the Daily Express is not known for being real truthful.

The Daily Express is an often racist and heavily biased "Little Englander" rag tabloid known for both highly sensationalized versions of news, as well as completely making things up.

There were no riots. The images shown indicate no riots.

Thus, this is in the hoax bin until another source can confirm any of the claims of the opening post.

It's highly disappointing that so many members took the claims at face value without applying some basic BS filters.

Pardon me, but why in the HOAX forum ?

It happened, seriously.

It likely couldnt be true. Why would Muslims rejoice over the slaughter of French citizens. It makes no sense

Actually, the article itself does not say there was a riot. That's just the OP's headline.

Are we going to be declaring hoaxes based on headlines now?

There's literally hundreds of social media photos of what was happening in the area, none show any rioting, or what was described in the "news" article.

It's well beyond simply being inaccurate.

The news article says that riot police were called to the scene over concerns that there would be violence. That's about it.

According to the article "French media" reported bottles and stones being thrown, however there is no links to these reports.

It says riot police were called after missiles were thrown to the authorities, freaking missiles man.

I wonder if when somebody thrown shoes to bush I could had said "radical Islamist perform missile attack at president bush"

Actually, the article itself does not say there was a riot.

The article sources Belgian newspaper, La Libre, as indicating some kind of violence/resistance from the crowd (without link). I've looked through six stories on their website related to the raid and arrest, and can't find anything that says any such thing about the crowd throwing stuff, or riot police.

The news article says that riot police were called to the scene over concerns that there would be violence.

And the Daily Express is using photos of police who were there for the raid/arrest as the supposed riot police, not actual riot police there to quell violence.

You're defending the Daily Express???

What exactly is going on over there is a staged event it's a distraction...
If an attack happens before the end of the month I will be proven right...
They are not giving a lot of information because they were looking for individuals there...
But thier efforts are being hindered I can see that much from the pictures...
Odd thing is...such movement highly resemble cia operative extractions...

Re: www.infowars.com...

Some young people who idolize terrorists, threw things at police and then went back into their respective homes. That's why this "riot" never made the news when it happened.. 3 days ago.

Didn't see that one.

Nothing about riot police, just "tensions" and thrown bottles, mainly because people were frustrated for not being able to leave or get to their homes for so long. Nothing like the picture being painted by the opening post, or the Daily Express story.
