Sausage Party Trailer

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am eXcited to see this movie. Puts a whole new spin & point of view for the food we purchase and gets animation into the R-rated boundaries, which we all know means it will be very funny to watch. (I hope by only providing the link, I have not broken any T&C rules)

ENJOY!

Watched the trailer, meh.

I was hoping it would be more informative on the subject of "truth" about food, even though I was cringing, because we eat lots of sausage at Easter! LOL

I prefer "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" and "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2" when it comes to personifying my food. Geez, we don't need a film that turns young people off from eating terrorized healthy foods!

I'm not seeing any redeeming qualities in this film from the trailer. Think I'll skip this one. Sorry Seth.

How utter crap like this gets made is beyond me.
It's like a 12 year old wrote it or a couple of stoners came up with the idea and Seth Rogen was like "Yeah bro that's awesome"

I actually feel sad watching that trailer - there are many great filmmakers and ideas out there that don't get greenlit but complete garbage and nonsense like this, that would probably be ok as a 5 minute YouTube short, gets literally millions thrown at it and voice talent out the wazoo.

Wow just wow.

Stay on Topic by not posting a Different Trailer than my OP.

*EDIT - Thank you for uploading the trailer of both films for comparison.

Have to be honest, this was not the direction I thought this post was going.lol It seemed cleaver. I would agree with you that making a short film like this would have been better use of talent.

Thank you for staying on topic!

The "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" trailer was posted as a example of contrasting "playing with your food" movies. It presents a clever and well written script and a quality final product that, by far, surpasses whatever it is that Seth Rogen is trying to pass off as entertainment.

A Link would have sufficed. *EDIT - Thank you for the trailer, side-by-side comparison.

This type of movie Is NOT meant for kids, I hope you understand that clearly. Now, why not compare an adult them animation with another adult themed animation. What you seem to be doing is comparing a kids movie to porn...different qualities, there are bad kid movies and good porn, & vice-versa.

It's animated, a cartoon. Kids will watch it. Kids, even adolescents, are impressionable, and many already have eating disorders.

1st, reply.
I hope the marketing crew clearly informs the public that this is not meant for kids.

2nd reply,
I was using this as an extreme.

Thank you for your edits, I have made my *Edits respectfully too.

I don't understand where you are going with Eating Disorders? Will this frighten them more Not to eat? Please elaborate.

Teenagers have all kinds of phobias about food already, and are impressionable, even on a subconscious level. This movie portrays personified food, (especially fruits and vegetable) with personalities, hopes and expectations for a happy life, that are terrorized, brutally assaulted, skinned alive, eaten alive, etc......

I'm not saying it should be banned or anything, I just don't see any redeeming qualities in its production, that's all.

I understand completely now. I guess we will wait and see if this gets swept under the rug like Hell & Back, quietly exposed to the public & never makes it to the big screens.

I wasted about 30 minutes of my time on "This Is The End and swore to never, ever waste more on anything with Seth Rogen or James Franco in it. They are not funny, edgy,....I just don't know how to describe the crap they put out, without insulting the people who watch it.

Say what you will about This Is The End

The scene where Franco and McBride are threatening to ejaculate on each other was comedy gold.
