Actually, before Murdoch and Fox was Limbaugh.

Frankly, all he did was articulate what wasn't being said/voiced on the big three networks. It resonated massively.

Fox was a spin-off from Rush's success. I count myself among the 'right'. I hold Murdoch in no higher or lower esteem than any of the left corporations that own the others. He saw a market and supplied a need. Standard business practice.

Both sides stress 'importances' differently. The tough part is sifting through it all and coming to a conclusion.

Obviously, we have come to different conclusions.

And please remember that the Likud (Netanyahu's party) doesn't represent the sentiment of the vast majority of Israelis. Or the majority of all Jewish people, for that matter.

Who Anointed Bibi?

Jewish Americans Launch “Bibi Doesn’t Speak For Me” Campaignwww.vocativ.com/usa/us-politics/netanyahu-congress/

With Netanyahu claiming that he will address Congress on March 3 as the “representative of the entire Jewish people,” J-Street’s campaign is intended to send a clear message that Netanyahu and his actions are not representative of all Jews, particularly those living in the United States.

Gotta love Ynet.

Zionist Union: Netanyahu destroying US-Israel relationship for sake of few votes

Zionist Union leader Isaac Herzog lashed out again at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday for his planned speech to Congress on Tuesday.

The speech, which has been the subject of criticism in Israel and the US, will focus on the agreement on Iran's nuclear program currently being drafted by the US and other world powers.

Speaking in a studio interview at Ynet, Herzog said: "There is no dispute about the Iranian threat, but the speech will not help and not change anything, but just could cause damage. Netanyahu is destroying (our) American alliance for a few votes at the ballot box."

The joint party's number two, Tzipi Livni also weighed in, saying that, "Netanyahu is destroying the relationship with the United States."

What do you Think of an Islamic State (Iran) , being Allowed by other Nuclear Powers to produce and develop a Launch capability for Nuclear Weapons ? Do you Imagine once they accomplished that they would not consider using those Weapons against another Country they happen to have differences with ? In the Name of Allah of Course they would . Americans do not need a Israeli Prime Minister to remind them of that , it should be Self Evident to everyone by now .

What i think is that they signed the NPT long ago and there has been absolutely no concrete evidence of them violating that treaty.

See some of the links already posted.

And what do you think of the countries with nukes who also harbor/are terrorists?

Let me ask you a real question. Why do you think Iran us dangerous? Do you know anything about Iran?

Did you that Israel gave Iranian Jews 40,000 dollars and homes to move to Israel and not one did? Not a single one. Did you know jews are on irans parliament?

Again, what makes you think Iran would attack any country? They have capabilities to attack Israel now and they don't.

Please don't repeat the "wipe Israel off the map" rhetoric because that never happened. If you think it did, prove it.

And you have to ask yourself, why is the US giving billions of dollars a year to a bunch of blowhard crybabies anyway?

Three reasons.
1. They play the holocaust card and guilt trip the world into giving them money.
2. People are deluded enough to believe they are God's chosen people so America being a good Christian nation needs to protect them.
3. The money we give them is welfare for the military industrial complex. Of the money we give them Israel has to spend a certain amount on weapons from American suppliers.

Personally, I think NuttinYahoo needs to be bitch slapped into next year by congress/US government. But you know it isn't going to happen. There are too many in the government with dual US/Israeli citizenship. What I really don't get is that to be president, you have to be a natural born citizen (both parents are US citizens and you are born on US soil) otherwise you might be compromised enough to commit treason, but it's ok for a bunch of wanker allegedly elected "representatives" to have dual citizenship, which actually indicates/states that they have two "masters." WTF is up with that other than an indicator that the political system is seriously compromised/broken?

BTW, someone should tell that pissant NuttinYahoo that all people are Gods people, not just the Jews using a PR campaign.

ETA: And someone should tell them, they aren't a race unless they are included with Arabs, because according to the last genetic tests, they are the same. The only thing that separates Israelis and Arabs, is jews and muslims.

Cheers - Dave

The GOP is playing to the base for the next elections. You think this is about politics or foreign policy? This is about the presidential election in 2016.

They're pandering to the base, 'We got Bibi to come talk to us about how bad Obama is, vote GOP!" Everything the GOP has done since November 2008 has been focused on winning back the White House. It's not about jobs, the economy, healthcare...it's all about getting a Good Ol' Boy back on Pennsylvania Avenue.

We all know how deeply infatuated the religious conservatives in this country are with Israel. This is who the House leadership are pandering to. It'll turn around, if you don't go to this speech, you're not a good Christian. But hey, elections have consequences. Even when 70% of the electorate didn't bother showing up.

"Proven false"? Really"? by whom?....

By things called facts and reality.
This "Sharia Law" people rant about supposedly "sweeping" the UK (usually incredibly ignorant right-wing crazies on Faux News) has absolutely no basis in British law, none.
Every citizen of the UK is compelled to live under the same legal system the rest of their community has to comply with and Sharia is no different.

Sharia Law is no different to a Rabbi giving out advice, or Confession on a Sunday. It's a religious advisory system specific to that group of people, voluntary and private to the individuals. If they choose to follow their free will and follow the advice of a Muslim cleric then that's no different to any other religious person following the advice of a figure in their chosen cult.

Once again, and this is FACT, so pay attention - Sharia Law has NO BASIS IN BRITISH LAW.

Israel is a US ally. Iran is not. Yet...
abcnews.go.com...

Inviting the leader of a close ally to speak to the leaders who, collectively, are on EQUAL FOOTING with the office of president is treason, but refusing to say anything against a public university inviting the leader of a sworn enemy to speak to our youth isn't?

Strange days under this man, Obama... strange days, indeed.

Yeah, we "religious conservatives" have a strange tendency to appreciate the only country in the Middle East with no history of calling us "The Great Satan" and swearing jihad against the United States every few months. Imagine that... friendly dealings actually matter.

P.S. Look, I don't see any Rabbis requesting, intending or desiring their religious views imposed on us.

There is no question that intent does exist in portions of the Islamic community.

I have seen in my lifetime things that were almost laughable 30-40 years ago that are completely inverted today.
I know not where vigilance crosses into paranoia. However, there are flat out too many instances, world-wide, that underscore that intent.

Almost on a daily basis.

Nothing would please me more than Britain staying herself far into the future. Just as I do for the U.S.A...

It's an insult to accept the invitation in the first place. It was illegal for John Boehner to invite him (Speaker Boehner was negotiating with an official of a foreign nation without the authorization of the President).

Everyone says that CONGRESS invited Netanyahu, which couldn't be further from the truth.

If Netanyahu were a man of principle, he would have taken the high road and turned down this invite. We now know he's got no principles, and has lied to the UN with the same data that he's bringing to Congress (already debunked by his own intelligence services).

Why, exactly, is anyone listening to him?

Have you ever considered why "they" hate us? You don't think it has anything to do with our mindless support for a bully country "Israel" that has been systematically destabilizing the region for decades?

Netanyahu has been preaching about Iran having a nuke for over twenty years. Fact. Their own intelligence has public ally claimed their is no evidence Iran is going for a nuke. Zero.

Again, why wouldn't iran hate us? All we have to go is stay out of their business and stop supporting Israelis destabilization plans. Did you know that cheneys haliburton worked closely with Iran in the 90's providing nuclear power advice?

Because people believe what they want to believe and don't discover truth for themselves. It people did on a large scale... There would have been a revolt years ago.
