I think that sets up what we call a "false dichotomy."

I have a question for Garth and anyone else in the studio who chooses to answer the question. I have followed the debate surrounding the 2nd amended /gun rights for a number of years . Let me frame this question first .

As one of the arguments for the 2nd amended is that an armed population can fight back against the government when it has gone bad . Now onto to my question . Why haven't the supporters of the 2nd amended more often used the role local militias played in the surge in Iraq as an argument to support there case?
