I am reposting this because I don't want people thinking I am ignoring them
I have had many people ask me how to do this test, and read the answers people have given.
I originally wanted to answer each person personally, but unfortunately I cannot. Unforeseen events have cropped up in my life, and I don't have the
time.
So I will kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. Below you will find the answer key to the test, so you will be able to look over your own test
- and give the test to others.
The House
The house represents your ego.
The small house represents a person who is very humble, or feels meek - probably not a good communicator.
The medium house is typically a person who doesn't feel small, but also doesn't feel huge - basically a well rounded person, with ok communication
skills.
The large house represents a large ego - this person has an inflated since of self worth, and is an expert communicator.
The color of the house represents a person's personality or mental state. Yellow is joy. Red is passion. Blue is emotion and calm. Purple is wealth,
etc. You must learn
your colors and their meanings. Many web pages can help with this. Certain colors are blends. Such as Pink - which is white and red together - this
is innocence and passion.
The Windows of the house represent how open you are. Look at how big the house is - if it is large and has few windows, then people will probably
shut others out. If it is
small and has many windows, then the person is humble but very open.
The Ladder
* The ladder represents your goals in life. If it is on the ground (as someone said) then you don't have a lot of goals, and just go with the flow.
If it goes half way up the
house - then a person probably feels that they only accomplish half their goals. If it gets almost to the roof, people tend to feel they fall just
short of their goals.
If it goes to the top of the roof or past, then they are an over achiever - and will tend to be critical of their self.
* Combine this info with the size of the house. If the house is large, and the ladder goes to the top, then they typically get what they want.
If the house is medium and the ladder goes to the top, they will get what they want fairly well.
If the house is small and the ladder goes to the top, they will try their best to get what they want, but may not get it (due to their lack of
communication, etc.).
* Now combine the size of the house with the ladder for how people deal with emotions.
If the house is large and people are used to getting what they want, and don't, they get frustrated.
If the house is medium, and they don't get their goals, they will become slightly disappointed.
If the house is small, and they don't get their goals, they will not worry too much as they are used to things not going according to plan.
The Flowers
The flowers represent your friends. Just like with the house, their color represents their personality. Typically people surround their selves with
the same types of friends.
e.g.. all yellow, or blue, or brown, or red. But sometimes people have a diverse group of friends, which spans all the colors.
Now we can look at the color of the flowers, let's say blue. Blue is typically a color of emotion, or feeling calm or subdued. If your house is
yellow (the color of joy) or
red (the color of passion) - this is a much more energetic color than the flowers - and you are probably the leader of the group, since you are a
stronger color.
If the house is dark, such as blue, and your flowers are yellow, or red - then your friends makes you feel stronger, and lift you up, as their energy
is stronger than yours.
The location of the flowers says how you place your friends. If they are in front of the house, then you put them before yourself. If they are
beside, then you view them as
equals. If they are behind, then you are the leader, and you view them as less important as yourself.
If the flowers surround your house - that means you have some friends that you view as less, others that you view as equals, and others you view as
more important. This
indicates that you are the peace keeper of your group, and people come to you often for advice.
The Horse
The horse represents your ideal mate.
What does the horse look like? A horse (just an average horse. this indicates you will settle for someone with average looks.) Muscular (someone who
is in shape and strong). etc.
What color is the horse? Remember how we determined the color of your house, and friends? Apply this to the horse, and it describes your ideal mate.
But say someone says a
brown horse with white dots. That means that the majority is brown (or stable, calm, slightly dark) with touches of white (innocence, purity,
etc.)
Location of the horse - just like with your friends. If the horse is behind you, you want a mate to support you. If beside you, you want a mate as an
equal. If in front
of you, you want a mate you can support.
The Storm
The storm deals with how well you handle stress. You must combine this with the size of the house & location of storm.
If the storm is in the distance, then you know problems are there, but don't pay attention to them.
If the storm is over your house, then you feel smothered by your problems.
If the storm is in front of your house, then you are focused only on your problems. This is a rare location - and indicates someone who has anxiety.
Now - the size of the house determines how well someone deals with problems. If you have a large house, then you deal fairly well. But if you have a
small house, you worry a
lot about your problems.
Giving the Test
Always try to stay as upbeat as possible. Don't be discouraging. For example, of someone has a black house (the color of sorrow or negativity)
don't tell them they are depressing to be around.
Tell them they might be cynical, or brooding. But also tell them positive things. People don't want to be told how bad they are.
We all have problems - but the key to this test, and making an impression, is to tell people their positives. Not negatives.
If you have any questions ask me - and I'll answer when I can.
