Rainbow Fiction!!!

I was in a field. There were some trees in the distance. In front of me was a wood cabin. It was a traditional wood cabin made entirely from wood with a small chimney on one side. There was a waft of smoke coming from the chimney.

I was laying there in this field and I sat up and this ugly little man, dressed all in green, wearing a hat with a buckle and shoes to match, carrying a pot of gold says in an obnoxious voice, "End of the Road!"

So I punched him and he ran off. Now you know, I am at the end of the rainbow, not some puny little leprechaun.

Wow, what a shot of life and vitality you gave it! I;ve got a wall that same colout of grey and nothing much has matched in very well, but now I'm going to keep an eye out for something yellow, it just pops so well! :-)

Also, HOW MUCH FURNITURE DO YOU HAVE LYING ABOUT?? You could be doing a furniture makeover show, Americas Next Top Dresser!

Gorgeous rainbow of colours, and thats a wonderful butterfly/jewelry box, I'd be tempted to retake the photo with just that and those rainbow colours shining through it.

Here's another of my paintings, couldn't get the leaves to look right, and the trunk was a bit weird.

Awwww, Qumulys, you are so kind, thank you.
I don't have a lot of furniture lying around. I decided a few month ago to start getting rid of the typical flat pack furniture most of us have, and start replacing it with more traditional, solidly built, proper wood bits. Of course they looked 'dated' and sad, especially in the Bureabeastie's case (although that is one piece that I am selling!). So I am gradually working through my house.
It's weird....once I decide...right, that's next to go, I stumble across somebody just getting rid of furniture, or selling them off at basically next to no money.

I'm going to be moving in the summer, and I don't want to be moving with loads of stuff, so closer to the time, I might even decide to sell/pass on the bits I have done and start from scratch when I've moved

I'm doing a plant pot today,.....one of those plastic tub things in terracotta look. I was given a rather large plant that needed a much bigger pot, you can see the corner of the poor plant that is needing this next to the blanket box...still sat in a bin bag! I didn't have the money (or inclination) to go out and buy a big pottery one. It was my friend who suggested I use one of the big plastic ones from the garden and paint it up....so it's going charcoal and burgundy to match my lounge furniture.
I'll post before and afters later.

PS....the base colour is actually more taupe not grey. But grey and yellow can look really chic.

I want that painting of the trees.....I love it!
(sorry I didn't see your tree post until I answered your previous one!)

It looks rather arid...no offense. Is it really?

But it still looks like a place I'd like to visit. If anything, to be banned from yet another country.

OK...only France has banned me...but they had it coming!
