it isn't about avatars. it is a photomanipulation contest this time. so your sizing....irrelevant.

hmm what's all that about avatar sizes then in the op, was that just spurious information to confuse? I would never have bothered to resize my picture if we don't have to control our creativity within a set dimension

my picture was originally a lot bigger with a larger frame...to late now it was cropped and overwriten

Animated backgrounds are not allowed.

ATS Avatars should be no larger than 170 pixels wide by 240 pixels tall, with a maximum file size of 75kb.

ATS Mini-Profile Backgrounds should be no larger than 200 pixels wide by 700 pixels tall, with a maximum file size of 150kb.

ATS Signature Images should be no larger than 600 pixels wide by 70 pixels tall, with a maximum file size of 50kb.

The posting of any image that violates the ATS Terms & Conditions will result in an immediate account termination.


Pixel Space: The new "visible" space for background images is 198 pixels wide and 420-480 pixels tall depending on other factors in your mini-profile and what type of computer is being used to view the site (example: tablet vs. PC).

Based on this, the recommended size for the most common member profile (1 line or no custom title) is 200 X 435. If a two-line custom title is used, the recommended size is 200X445

it was that segment that led me to believe there was dimension restrictions, who knows , to be honest the op reads like a bastardization of a competition an instruction Manuel and an extension of the terms and conditions , well as I read it

I figured all those sizes were part of it hehe, I was like look at all those, far too many. So I just made what I wanted

I know, lol... I kept wondering how I was going to make a shadow without enough space... lol

How it turned out was probably the reason for only getting one person who liked it enough to give it a star... hahahaha
