***Theme: photomanipulations ***

This is a new contest idea, taken from this post, and the one following:
www.abovetopsecret.com...
Members are asked to work from the images, one or both below and let their imagination runs wild. If successful, we'll do more of these kinds of contests.
I really wasn't sure what to pick, so I choose a silhouette and a regular photo.

Only one entry per post!!!

Members can post images as often as they like, but only three "Official Entries" per person....please mark those entries "OFFICIAL ENTRY" for the votes to be counted.

Contest rules:
All Terms and Conditions apply to all artwork.
Terms and Conditions of Use

ANY use of the disabled "add a star" link disqualifies that entry and the person who posted the link will be immediately and totally ( all submissions ) removed from the competition

Please review the Rules for Avatars and Mini-Profile Backgrounds and Terms and Conditions

How to re-size your mini-profile background image for ATS 5/3

Animated backgrounds are not allowed.

and

ATS Avatars should be no larger than 170 pixels wide by 240 pixels tall, with a maximum file size of 75kb.

ATS Mini-Profile Backgrounds should be no larger than 200 pixels wide by 700 pixels tall, with a maximum file size of 150kb.

ATS Signature Images should be no larger than 600 pixels wide by 70 pixels tall, with a maximum file size of 50kb.

The posting of any image that violates the ATS Terms & Conditions will result in an immediate account termination.

Pixel Space: The new "visible" space for background images is 198 pixels wide and 420-480 pixels tall depending on other factors in your mini-profile and what type of computer is being used to view the site (example: tablet vs. PC).

Based on this, the recommended size for the most common member profile (1 line or no custom title) is 200 X 435. If a two-line custom title is used, the recommended size is 200X445

Just to be sure
I have to choose between one of the 2 images in the OP and it can be re-sized to 200X445?

This will be my first participation in this forum
Look forward to flexing my Photoshop muscles!

sorry, it didn't work.. when you changed it, it saw the white as color. I need to be able to move the image transparently without the white around it being seen as part of the piece.
idk if you can do it in photoshop... or reverse it.. like.. once you remove something from png, you can't change it back to being transparent far as i know.

i might not even do it, so it's not a big deal if you don't help

wait, nevermind, it worked, sorry ^.^;

there's just a rough outline around the characters..
would make things a little more difficult, but i could handle it if i end up doing it i guess.

I was just encouraging a competitive spirit! I am not claiming the better. Art is subjective. I just meant I had something cooking up

understood

sometimes i feel i have more to gain from losing than winning tbqh.

but in this case, i don't have much to work with, so I practically forfeit any sort of competitive edge to gain knowledge of anyways.

I could easily say the same thing but I refuse because I try to look at
it in a positive way. I'm totally new & I always learn some thing from
everyone & I am grateful for any help. I still try to be competitive &
I didn't do too bad for the Valentines contest & I was thrilled. People
came to help me when I was stuck, Cody did my text because I was
having a problem.

I also very much enjoy seeing what others contribute & share about
their work. It's ALL fun!
Nice work on yours!

Cheers
Ektar

You can use one, or both.
The idea is to limit the original image and see what you Avatar Creators can do
