Instead of printing trillions of dollars to give to bank CEOs for bonuses the government should have subsidised small business pay increases instead.

But I dont know how Americans would feel about that, they probably consider that some sort of communism lol.

I consider it an irresponsible waste of money.

I wouldn't subsidize a huge corporation anymore than I would a small business.

Public money should NEVER be used to fund private enterprise. I care not what size it is.

I do not.

My concern is that droughts and other climate phenomena in the USA might drive farmers out of business and then we become increasingly dependent on foreign countries, who do subsidize their agricultural industries, for our food supplies. It seems dangerous to me.

That said, Agricultural subsidies in the USA have become a method of Pols buying votes back home. It does need drastic reform, but not sure if it should be eliminated to the benefit of foreign interests.
