Here you go, these are mine:

Predictions for 2014

1) The DOW Industrial average will exceed 17,000, and drop below 14,000

2) A major figure in the evangelistic atheist community will convert to theism

3) Syria will break into two independent countries

4) Apple will announce a wristwatch product

5) Google and Audi will announce a joint project to build mass market self driving cars

2014 will be a year of revelations.
Something from a plane will drop on a major city.
Skeptic Overlord will make a major announcement this year.

Those are my main three.

My predictions for 2014:

I believe we are going to see the middle east become less of an issue and the war machine will be pushed further into Africa.

we are going to see two bubbles burst. One is what I call the sub-prime car loans that are or were popular the last few years. I think we have already seen that begin. Thats one reason why independant car dealers are going away from bank loans and moving to in-house financing with reasonable terms and local control.

Lastly, I think we are going to see a blow to the gold market. As the economy and the dollar weakens, people are going to attmept to cash in their paper gold invesments and when the brokers cannot deliver....all hell is going to break loose.
