Hello ATS ... I’m writing this thread after alot of soul searching, hopefully I'm doing the right thing .
I've been on ATS site for years an had a couple of different usernames; ko1punch was one I used and a couple of others . I am 41 years old and a single dad.
I’m a hv fitter on the sub-stations.

About 4 years ago I was told I had Ostersarcoma, www.macmillan.org.uk... which is a bone cancer. I got a tumour in my right hip joint which was the size of an orange when they found it , I was advised to have chemo as soon as possible, I had 7 months Chemotherapy in Christies in Manchester.

I was in Christies from monday morning until friday afternoon for the whole period,I lost 3 stone, all my hair on my body and I looked like death when they had finished ....half way through the chemo they cut the tumour out and I had a partial pelvis and hip replacement.

The doctors told me the chemo hadn’t worked and the tumour was still "alive" when they cut it out and I had a choice if I wanted to carry on the treatment or not ,i was advised that the chemo could help still if i had any residue cancer cells in my blood, as I was in a vunerable state I agreed to carry out the course of chemo.

After the chemo had finished I went back to work and got on with my life as best as I could. About a year later I got secondary tumours in my lungs. I had key hole surgery and they cut out 3 tumours out and left 2 tumours in my lungs because they were in dangerous places and to risky to cut out . The 3 tumours were sent off for biopsy and showed they were cancerous. I was advised that I needed 6 months of chemo asap ...ok this is where it gets interesting .... I’d read this thread by TheAlmo .................... www.abovetopsecret.com... you should read this thread .
www.abovetopsecret.com...

So I decided to try this as I wasn’t having chemo again ...never again. I spoke to theAlmo a couple of times through mail on ats ... and researched the info in his thread ...so I started taking 100mg Mebendazole tablets 3 times a day ,200 mg cimetidine tablets 4 times a day www.canceractive.com... and 50 grams of Glutamine power twice a day. en.wikipedia.org... That was last year in March or April .

I have revisited the hospital for six month check up for CT scans and chest x-rays alternatively since been told there was two tumours left in my lungs. The doctors believed the cancer would spread without treatment, their only option chemo. I have not told the specialist the treatment I am still currerntly taking and I have continued to go back for appointments.

The first CT scan after three months showed no change and the tumours both still present. The next appointment was six months later again (9 months in total) , a chest x-ray which showed nothing and my chest was clear. At this stage the doctors were very shocked and only asked me if I felt OK and If I did to come back in six months time for a CT scan. #

I continued to take what I was taking and went back six months later (15 months since the tumours were cut out) for the CT scan. This CT showed that one of the tumours had dissapeared and the other had remained the same size which the doctor has recently stated this could be old scar tissue and nothing to worry about which does not make sense to me after all this time.

I have recently been for my second chest x-ray since the three tumours were cut out ( 21 months) and again this has shown no relapse and all clear. My specialist is now telling me I’m in remission and the longer no cancer isnt showing the less chance it is of coming back. I asked the doctor if he should of seen any sign of cancer spreading by now, knowing that he believed 21 months ago he could do nothing for me except trying another course of chemo (when i was offered the second course of chemo i asked him what are the chances of success and he said it had more chance of working the first time and the chances of it working the first time was not good )the doctor said it should of spread throughout my body by now and he should being seeing it on the x-rays and CT scans.

I haven’t told my specialist what ive been taking and he has never asked me. I mentioned some alternative cures to him when I was told about the secondary tumours and he didnt know about any of them ... so I haven’t mentioned it again ..
Feel free to ask any questions i’d be happy to help 
And last but not least i’d like to say thank you to TheAlmo and ATS.

Thanks for posting this nofear39! I am encouraged by posts/threads such as this. I have zero doubt that cheap and alternative cancer treatments that actually cure cancer are being deliberately and dishonestly discredited or buried. There's no money in curing anything in America. What was the last disease that was actually cured?

I lost my brother-in-law back in April this year (2013) to pancreatic cancer. I only had sisters growing up (2 of them) and he was the closest thing to a brother that I ever had. Even writing about him 8 months later still makes me a little weepy. It just infuriates me that so many loved ones have been lost that could possibly still be here today - healthy - if not for the absolute focus on profits over people.

Congratulations! It sounds like you were living in 'this side of hell' to be honest. I was so happy to read your story and your gracious acknowledgment to the ATS member. It's a good thing ATS includes other things besides conspiracies and doom porn, eh? May 2014 bring you ever increasing blessings.

Cool, thanks for posting.

I had similar success with Sodium Dichloroacetate with a caffeine regime when I gave it to family member. I will add this to my list.

Yeah from what I am reading the substance you had success with works in a similar manner, it induces apoptosis in the cancer cells by restoring mitochondrial function.

Cancer cells, unlike healthy ones, lose their mitochondrial function and instead start using glucose as fuel to grow(or that's the jist anyway). Normal cells commit suicide when damaged, cancer bypasses that function.

In these medications essentially the cell starts breathing and metabolizing in a regular fashion and once that process is restored, commit suicide. Interesting.

That's why it leaves healthy cells intact.

Again, great story and I will for sure put this on my list.

LOL for sure.

As long as it worked.

Mainly I posted the substance I had success with just in case your cancer comes back and the other substance doesn't work a second time keep it in mind.

Also consider a ketogenic diet if that happens(high fat, medium protein, low to almost no carb). That forces the body to start metabolizing ketone bodies as opposed to glucose which cancer cannot eat. Just an FYI. But definitely a good story.

Where do you get it from? What's the recommended dosage? Sounds interesting.

Not sure what you mean, but just to touch base. Story does not = fiction.

In fact for future reference:

One definition of story:

2. an account of past events in someone's life or in the evolution of something.
"the story of modern farming"

By saying a good "story" means it's a good "account" of an event as posted by OP.

Does not mean fiction.

Have a good one.

This is EPIC, AWESOME, UNBELIEVABLY GOOD news!!!

Congratulations!!!

New ATS motto: "ATS SAVES LIVES FFS!!!"

It was destiny that you should be on ATS, read that thread and try that treatment!

nofear39, in your opinion, do you think the chemo-poison was the least bit helpful? With many different alternative therapies, what made you go with this one? Were there any other changes that you made, say with your diet?

The ATS community knows damn well that there are cures out there. The only problem is that the companies who can afford to fund trials have no interest to do so, mainly because the possibility of a cheap cure could bankrupt them.

Fact is, EVERYONE will get cancer or know someone who has cancer. Its an EPIDEMIC.

Like anything else, different people will react differently to the same treatment but the important thing is to get educated NOW.

Take a look at this thread and realize that you have options, regardless of which path you choose.
