The report on Maj. Gen. Michael Carey's drunken Russia trip has been released. He led the 20th Air Force which was responsible for three nuclear wings and was relieved of duty in October.

While on his trip, he was constantly late and consumed alcohol during meetings and tours. He talked about sensitive subjects such as Snowden and Syria. During several lunches and dinners the Maj. Gen. drank way too much and actually wanted to join the band at a Mexican restaurant and kept trying to fist bump a tour guide who didn't know what the hell he was trying to do.

Way to embarrass the U.S.. Our president does a good enough a job.

This guy is awesome and not some stuck up power tripping god complex monkey like our president is

Yes, I wish all of the folks I pay with my taxes who are in charge of nuclear weapons were drunken cowboy wildcards like this guy. Maybe we'd finally get to that armageddon we've been hoping for, amirite?

Honestly, I'd rather have a real monkey in charge. He can't punch in codes.

So THATS what they meant when they said he tried to "join" the band.

Word to your Moms, he came to drop bombs.

Seriously... this almost deserves to be in the Joke forum, but alas, and unsurprisingly, it's actually true.

Good for you catfish!!! I thought you'd take the route that others have already treaded on ATS with this story and blame [snipped] for firing generals...instead, you took the high ground and only threw his [snipped] under the train at the end.
People in other countries do not need to look to our leadership to shake their heads in confusion...how many posts do we have on threads about a tv show. This country deserves what it gets. Merry Christmas if I don't post later. I'm not being facetious. You and yours have a good one. Just don't buy anymore tight pants for anyone in the family.

It almost sounds like he had a breakdown of some sort. I know it was getting bad when I left the military. Plenty of people had enough of the crap, but now we are seeing General Officers acting like Privates. It's almost as if they're saying "screw it" and having a pool to see who could do what before they get caught and relieved of command and forcibly retired. I wonder how big the pot is.
