See the lead singer/frontman for the Lost Prophets has pleaded guilty to child sex allegations, including 2 of attempted rape of a baby....a BABY?

WTF?

I know, I was gonna do a thread on that. Un..effing..believable.
He plus 2 females pleaded guilty to 22 counts of sexual abuse of minors.

The scale of this problem is MUCH MUCH BIGGER than even a tin hat wearing paranoid fringer like myself ever imagined.
The Joris Demmink video underlined for me that maybe this is a lost cause.

No, the danger is still for the children. However, this 'normalisation' of paedophilia, the belief that it is an illness is not helpful. I agree with you when you say that being falsely accused of a crime is wrong, hurtful and damaging.
It is a grave offence to be charged with, without doubt.

But to say that rape is rape is rape is to misunderstand the issues. Adult to adult rape is horrific, but as adults we understand what is happening. When say, a 2 or 3 year old is raped, they do not understand. An adult's huge body will hurt them in ways you really don't want to think about. And as they have no language for sex, they cannot process their experiences like we adults do. Schore et al have done some good work on understanding the neurological damage that is done to a child's brain after experiencing trauma.

Finally, it is my opinion in my profession that children do not lie convincingly about sexual abuse. It is pretty obvious when they have been coached. As adults, we can prove our innocence. But it is imperative that we listen to every single child, and believe them, when they disclose abuse.

Hi, I just came across this and thought of you. You might have read it, but it would be good to have it in your thread, maybe for those that have not.
It is a collection of newspaper cuttings which provide a timeline of the events surrounding the cover-up, and it goes as far as to suggest some names.

PIE info

Hope this finds you well.

I just learned that AIDS-related deaths in adolescents has sky-rocketed while HIV-positive newborns has decreased - given HIV's incubation period, these facts suggest most victims were infected between the ages of 1 and 10 years of age. Pedophiles and sex tourism? More info here.

Thank you very much for the link, I had seen the link in searches but never have gotten around to clicking it, there is so much evidence of this abuse that Im finding it overwhelming and depressing to say the least.

Heres is a more comprehensive list(with names)

And Here is a list of 120 politically affiliated paedophiles.

And you just proved my point is that you do have some shameful secret to hide, that you have to wait for you death so that you can be judged by god.

Just watching the exchange: that's nonsense. Wanting to keep your personal business personal has nothing to do with "having a shameful secret to hide." What you are saying is that you shouldn't be bothered about letting the police search your house without a warrant unless you really are a criminal. It makes no logical sense.

That is an interesting statistic, worthy of further investigation....Thank you.

This is really positive news! The Herald, a Scottish newspaper has reported this morning:

"A former Cabinet minister in Margaret Thatcher's government is being investigated in connection with historic child sex offences and is facing arrest in the near future, the Sunday Herald has learned.

The former Tory politician is being investigated by detectives leading Operation Fernbridge, which is investigating claims that political figures and others sexually abused boys at various locations in England.

There have already been two arrests: one, a former care-home boss, and the other a Roman Catholic priest.

Scotland Yard said last night that the charges related to seven victims aged between nine and 15, with the alleged offences dating back to the 1970s and 1980s. A third, unnamed man was interviewed but later released with no further action taken.

The Thatcher-era Cabinet minister is believed to be the highest-profile target of Operation Fernbridge detectives.

One source close to Operation Fernbridge said last night: "When it comes to who is involved, the police do not care how important or high profile they are - these people will not be getting away with it any longer."

Link to The Herald

I look forward to seeing how this unravels, but this is fantastic news for survivors, and a strong message for the police to send.

Disregard the U2U I sent you!

It is my experience that the overtly moralistic are the one's most likely to have some deep rooted and damning secret which they are desperate to hide.

....he also comes out with the who do I think I am stuff because he doesn't have a better argument against my philosophy, ....

Seems to me the common denominator here may be your unwillingness to listen and consider alternative opinions to that which you allege to hold?

PIE were quite an evil organisation.
I have no doubt that their tendrils run long and deep within the corridors of power up to the very highest echelons of the British 'establishment'.
I also don't doubt that since PIE was publicly exposed that these people have continued in their organised abuse of children and that they are actively protected.

I suspect that the public exposure of Jimmy Saville et al is part of a damage limitation exercise. All these 'celebs' are either dead or very old. They are sacrificial lambs offered up to the public who quite naturally are appalled at the goings on of these 'stars' whilst those in the upper levels of the Civil Service, Judiciary, Police, Politicians etc continue unthreatened.

Remember the way 'the establishment' rallied round Lord Mc Alpine when he was 'wrongly' accused in the North Wales child abuse scandal.
en.wikipedia.org...
I think it says it all when the only politician actually named in that scandal just happens to be dead, how convenient.

Operation Ore exposed Pete Townshend for downloading sexual images of children, the list of prescribers to hard-core child pornography websites also included the names of two Labour Cabinet Ministers of the time, neither has been publicly exposed.

Information about PIE and links to some aging or deceased politicians and z-list 'celebrities' may surface but that will be the sum of it. The public will continue to be fed scraps whilst the real culprits continue unpunished.

I sincerely hope you are right about Operation Fernbridge and the related but quite secretive Operation Fairbank, unfortunately I suspect not though.

The identity of the ex-Tory Minister allegedly involved is pretty much well known.....along with a British 'entertainer' who is a British institution.

Whether they ever manage to get hold of the documents is doubtful; I suspect they had an accident with a shredding machine long ago.
I think my hope lies in a shift in attitude, which I see daily in my work with the survivors of sexual abuse, amongst the police, members of the judicial system and the general public. Maybe it's because I'm immersed in the systems though, and it is a prominent part of my life, that it seems lke the intolerance of paedophilia is prevalent.
The corruption and security our politicians enjoy disgusts me, but I have to keep reminding myself that they are only representatives of all of us - though not in the true sense of the word. I'm going to harass my own MP to keep raising this as an issue, because I believe that the tide is turning and the best way to maintain that momentum is to keep pushing and not give up.
It may be a little naive, but it keeps me going. Hope all is well,

B x

The general public has always had a deep rooted disgust for paedophiles and I have no doubt that rank and file police officers and most within the judicial system share those feelings. I also recognise that unfortunately paedophiles infest every walk of life and social strata.
But I doubt those from the real upper levels of society will be pursued with the same vigour that those from more common backgrounds are.
And let's face it, the likes of Jimmy Saville etc wouldn't have got away with it for so long if their victims hadn't come from the most neglected sections of our society.

The corruption and security our politicians enjoy disgusts me,...

As it does with most of us.
The difference is you appear to be at 'the coal face' and are dealing with the realities of this sort of abuse and can speak from a more informed perspective. Whereas most of us speak from a purely emotive viewpoint yours is also based on experience.

But its not only senior politicians who appear to be able to act with impunity, the same applies to senior Civil Servants, Police, Judiciary and bankers and industrialists most of whom share something in common; their background and upbringing.
I'm not saying all Eton / Oxbridge types are paedophiles, only that paedophiles who are appear to be above the law.

I'm going to harass my own MP to keep raising this as an issue, because I believe that the tide is turning and the best way to maintain that momentum is to keep pushing and not give up.

I sincerely hope you are right.

It may be a little naive, but it keeps me going.

That's not being naïve, that's simply a desire to make a positive difference - even if it is naïve it is worthy and speaks volumes about you as a person.

Hope all is well,

I'm fine thank you, just about recovered from what can only be described as a hectic weekend - nothing in moderation is still a maxim I try my best to adhere to despite my advancing years.
And I hope all is well with you and your's.
