Last I was here, I never gave introduction.
Hello ATS.

For short, you can call me Alice.
Unlike a character of similar name, I'm more of a mind, education, training, and experience for avoiding rabbit holes, and pumping them full of cement where possible.

You'll find my future commentaries on fringe subject matter runs more in contrast to popular fringe opinion in favor of a more rational and logical inquisition of topical discussion.
I hope these contributions will highlight a diligence in the importance of rational inquiry.
Thus, yes, I will exhibit bias in the expression of my opinions in favor of what can be documented, attributed, accounted for, backed up, quantified, valued, verified, and pinned to a board.

This isn't to say I'm adverse to a bit fun.

Hi Alice - welcome to the party!

I can see that you've already made yourself comfortable...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with approaching many of the things here with a rational & skeptical mind. In fact, I would say it's almost a requirement if you're really looking to get good information and learn a few things along the way.

But I would also say that approaching things with an open mind is critical. There is much to see & learn here, and many of the members are extremely knowledgeable & forthcoming with their information & analysis. You might be surprised by what you find and how you think/feel about certain subjects after reading some of the better threads here.

In any event, seeing as you don't like rabbit holes, perhaps we'll run into each other on the other side of the looking glass.
