It's late and I'm getting a little carried away I know:
But:

Why you ask? Several theories, all horrific but plausible

1. The world economy is in the ditch, the past WW have revived the world's economy.

2. We have a world wide imbalance in the ratio of male to female due to selective abortion and infanticide of females. A war will restore the balance. A surplus of horny males is trouble with a capital T for nations, so what better way to get rid of them.

3. Many of the elites think the world has way too many people in it. A WW would reduce the surplus population.

4. There is rampant unemployment of especially young males. A war, which would result in a draft would restore nearly full employment as well as getting rid of excess employees in subsequent peace.

5. For Obama to leave a legacy of low unemployment, a good economy and be seen as strong rather than a man in mommy jeans riding a bike like a girl with a helmet on.

5. For Obama to leave a legacy

This is what I think. He is-after all, a narcissist, no way does he want to think of his presidency looking as it does now. I feel he will do pretty much anything to get his way because in his mind, his way is the right/only way.

No elouina, he didn't mean what is "best for America" he mean "what is best for the private warmonger profiteers" we the people and tax payers of this nation are the ones that will be footing the bill that if, US now that no longer can rely on China for buying our debt will be now relying on Quatar and Saudi Arabia for now own and what they want is regimen change in Syria and eventually the down fall of Iran.

Americas military will become the mercenaries for hire of the Saud house.

Does anyone think there will come a time when several countries believe that Americans need to be liberated from their tyrannical government? And do you think those countries would ever act upon their proof-positive findings? It is NO wonder why most countries hate us Americans, merely based on the actions of our oppressive government in their neverending quest for absolute power.

I know America does some horrible things to other countries and is going down a slippery slope of restricting freedom but it's not really fair to call our government tyrannical when I think that label should be reserved for North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Turkmenistan, ect. Don't get me wrong I could list horrible things America has done recently like dirty wars and our politicians pretty much wiping their butts with the Constitution. I don't know how old you are but I'm about to be 24 and most people my age don't care about TSA, check points, NSA, foreign policy, drones, they want gun control, bigger government, entitlements, and government taking control of health care. My generation thinks Libertarians and anyone with some right wing views are uneducated bigots who are still leaving in the 1930's. There are is a small group of people in my generation who think like you so if anything is going to change for the better it must happen soon before we start taking over more responsibilities.

I agree that "Tyrannical" is the wrong word, but no for those that are at the other end of the US warmongering.

Here in the US is call a corporate dictatorship, but as long as Americans get their welfare checks, SS and retirements everything is peachy, but that we the tax payers has been manipulated in this nation is and understatement.

I agree a 100% and America does have some "Tyrannical like" policies/agencies which include the Patriot act, NSA, NDAA, ect. I agree with the US being a coporate dictatorship and agree with you on entitlements, I hate when people would take your statement on welfare or SS and claim you want to make old people starve or throw them out on the streets. Entitlements are great in theory and shouldn't be a problem but too many people are abusing them or becoming complacent and it's hurting people who actually need it. I just really can't stand when people who try and have a honest dialogue about the very real problems facing the country are labeled hating the poor or trying to punish senior citizens. A lot of people my age don't care about the real problems facing this country which is going to end up on our shoulders and instead we want "free college", student loan debt erased, free this and free that. I would love for big corporations to want to start taking in less profits and investing more in our country but I think that's almost impossible without government intervention (which usually ends up blowing up in our face down the road).

That is why the government does anything it can to keep those entitlements alone, the reason is very clear with so many Americans on some kind of government program, the government have a good hand on the population, but take those entitlement away and you going to have a full blown uprising in the nation.

So, riddle me this: How many thousands of soldiers and billions of dollars is it going to take to secure the purported chemical weapons that will otherwise fall into the hands of Allah knows who after the demise of the current regime? Peace be with you.

About 75,000 Thousand boots and who knows how much money, that is the only thing that is no been discussed, just that Quatar and Saudi Arabia mention that they will finance the attack, China financed the last war in Iraq but not this time.

Capitalism is set up to be competitive. That means maximizing profit by any means that can be construed as legal or can be hidden if not. There's no real barrier to stop the business money from going into government pockets. So, the selfish system is rigged and becomes crony capitalism and fascism.

I don't see how a libertarian or anarchist system will fix the problem. I would think they would make abuse easier.

I don't see how we can have socialism. It takes money and connections to get to be an elected puppet. If we agreed to socialism, it would be the same old power hungry crowd telling us we got what we wanted so quit complaining about all the suffering we brought upon ourselves.

We know what it takes to survive. We know how to help each other and get along. I feel that we need to band together in small groups to live cleanly off grid. Anything or knowledge a group lacks can be shared by other groups. This is the kind of interaction we see in our daily lives when we're not watching the news.

France recognizes the lack of public support, so they are going to wait for the False flag to pull through then they can jump back on the band wagon and it will look totally legit.
If there is a false flag it will be in the U.S.

A false flag gas attack in the U.S. would cure all of Obama's problems. He can bomb the world with impunity and get rid of the GOP all in one insane move, just think of all the "I told you so " campaign funding he could do.

2014 would be a walk for the Dem's and Hillary would be a lock with probably no opposition at all from the GOP.

Ya, I hope I am wrong to..............but what an opportunity for the "AGENDA".

Personally I think you hit it pretty close, but I would lean towards obama staying right where he is. All it would take is the dems in control of both the house and senate and some stooge to raise the issue of lifting term limits and poof he gets re-elected
again.

AND Obama and his staff are worried about "saving face" rather than the millions who may die if this sparks WWIII. China obviously thinks it will, even China is sending military to the region, and not in support of Obama's single minded goal.

This is going to sound a little crazy, but what if this is what obama wants? To start WW3 and to bring America down to her knees. Russia's already said thet they would send troops to aid Syria, I thought I seen a story where China was sending people to the area. What will happen if during one of obamas strikes he kills or injures some Russian troops? You think they'll accept a " ooops" from obama? This is still "what if" that if this plays out like obamas dead set on doing we're going to get so far over our heads and we're going to be completely alone.

It's extremely sad when taking away entitlements would be one of the only reasons America would have a uprising. The politicians are in great shape because they have a stranglehold on most of the American population and they could ruin so many people with one little policy change.

Statists look out at a world full of strangers who have questionable motives and dubious morality, and they are afraid of what some of those people might do. That, in and of itself, is a perfectly reasonable concern. But then, as protection against what some of those people might do, the statists advocate giving some of those same people of questionable virtue a huge amount of power, and societal permission to rule over everyone else, in the vain hope that, by some miracle, those people will happen to decide to use their newfound power only for good. In other words, the statist looks at his fellow man and thinks, “I do not trust you to be my neighbor, but I do trust you to be my master.”

Bizarrely, almost every statist admits that politicians are more dishonest, corrupt, conniving and selfish than most people, but still insists that civilization can exist only if those particularly untrustworthy people are given both the power and the right to forcibly control everyone else. Believers in “government” truly believe that the only thing that can keep them safe from the flaws of human nature is taking some of those flawed humans – some of the most flawed, in fact – and appointing them as gods, with the right to dominate all of mankind, in the absurd hope that, if given such tremendous power, such people will use it only for good, And the fact that that has never happened in the history of the world does not stop statists from insisting that it “needs” to happen to ensure a peaceful civilization.

I really wish this Administration would simply tell us WHY they have such a hard on for lobbing missiles into Syria. What is the gameplan, and why? What is the desired objective?

So far, the ONLY one I can see is a wish for WW3. Can't believe I'm going to say this, but thank goodness for Putin! He really sucked the wind out of Obama's sails didn't he?

Of course, he's still going to attack, as ordered to by his puppet masters.

So is dictating what is best for us is what he considers the right choice?

Obviously, as that's the path he's chosen. Now he wants Congress to do likewise. The hell with all that "for the people" stuff....right?

The problem here is that when one is in congress, the congressmen tend to forget why they are there. The lose touch with the very people they are trying to represent and fail to see that they need to speak with one voice for the country, not just their own well being. A good political leader will as Edmund Burke would state: that a representative owes the People not only his industry, but his judgment, and he betrays them if he sacrifices it to their opinion.

It means that sometimes the politician has to do the politically inconvenient action and take a stand that he knows will cost him his position, but is the right position to take as it is good for the country. In this case, the position of the country and its people are the correct stand to take. The American population has no taste for this action, will not support it. We are war weary and tired of the endless violence with no gains or victories to show for it. What we have are injured men, broken families and the dead who did not deserve to die in the process of following a leaders orders, who did not sacrifice as the people have.

How is this guy not the worst President ever?

He is such an arrogant elitist.

he has definetly become a problem for americans and others overseas.
another president that can't stand up to washington's profesional warmongers.

as to the worst president ever, bush's invasion of iraq still outdoes anything obama has done.
a trillion dollars wasted along with hundreds of thousands of dead iraqis.
bush's only excuse being that he was too dumb to know what he was doing.

that being said, if obama bombs syria and iran, he will propably become our worst president ever since the consequences will outdo bush's foley.
