A bit late in this discussion, but belatedly S+F for posting this!

I can't really add anything that's not been said before, but I also think the alleged object - however intriguing it may look - is most likely an exposure artifact. Also, I'm sure we can trust the army of amateur astronomers worldwide who would certainly express their doubts if there were anything unusual in those images.
