ha ha, you will see a huge influx of people, they will last for about 6 months... some survive become good members, others just a forgotten avatar.

I believe there was a thread discussing this exact phenomenon.

I was merely focusing on "Summer Lurkers" as you put it before... which are 90% school kids.

Older people are always there...usually just work and home... only a small population continue study after 30.. with economy and all.

If you don't have a job, the economy will sht you down.

I was out shopping with my sister earlier today and she and a cashier had a conversation about how school starts up again in a few weeks and how the "back to school" shopping madness is already in full swing. It kind of blew my mind because in my day early July was scarcely the beginning of summer break.

All things considered I suppose year round school is to condition the next generation to be accepting and happy about putting in a combined 90 hours a week, at five part time jobs, all for low wages and no benefits... They'll just be happy they get 3 days off a month.

Hey?

Welcome back Heff, we missed you here

Funny you should say that because even over here in France the main news stations are already talking about what the kids need to buy for the following school/college year in September...

Kids over here only do 4 and a 1/2 days a week at school (Wednesday afternoons off), so they are already conditioned to be civil servants
(which seems to be the best job to have in France!)
