Its not that I don't believe it, but it seems unlikely. Really that wound would still drip blood even if it was tide of. There is no blood on his clothes hands or anything. The fact the are letting the foot hang instead of using that thing so u can lay your foot horizontal ( which makes more sense when u want someone to stop from bleeding to death ).

No disrespect taken. I have worked mass casuality events. The tourniquet stops the bleeding. The best thing for that patient is to get him to an ambulance and to the hospital fast. There is no fix for injuries like that except amputation. I have seen amputations from IED's where the only thing you see is the missing limb. It is quite odd. If the explosion is low enough, he would not have blood on his shirt unless he was laying down and the explosion "pushed" the blood and tissue in the direction of the shirt

Seriously if these are all suspicious packages or connected in some way there are a lot of them and whether whoever is responsible is successful at their plan or not this seems like a full scale attack.

If they wanted to do that wouldn't they have picked an location which would cause more damage and casualties? Think.

I don't know if NYC has a Beth Israel or not but the one in Boston is quite famous.

Whoever asked for source, look for one yourself, I'm listening to scanner live, so um, that's the source.

I see no reason to believe the picture is faked.

There is a lot of stuff going on during an explosion, even more so when the devices are improvised.
At this point it is not unreasonable to suggest the explosives were homemade as well. There is no telling what different chemicals/oxidizers/fuels were used.

CNN isn't reporting any of this.

Your source says 12 dead and other sources now saying 100 injured.

They just cleared a delivery truck that was parked somewhere suspicious. They said it showed up suddenly but it's been cleared and nothing found.

Also a package outside some place called the Rattlesnake and I think I heard another one outside a school but I didn't hear the name. I hope that one is cleared.

It is a really strange photo.

I thought that, some of the colour of the suff on the guys face looks out of place... like make up or something, and wouldnt the guy be in more pain/ shock?

Thats cool I'm sure you know better than I do, it just looked a bit wierd to me. I've never seen anything like that first hand so I wont pretend to know what i'm talking about

They said on the news they were finding ball bearings at the det site so it supports the home made theory.


Also reporting on the scanner a suspect package at the university now too
