And, finally, getting to your question, no, no one is going to magically wake up to the actual Reality we arise in, without profound whole bodily understanding of their egoity and absolute surrender to Reality Itself. How to do this? How to stop all seeking? You can't do it inwardly or outwardly - that would be like picking yourself up by your own bootstraps. However, Reality does seemingly intervene for serious aspirants, and how that works out is not necessarily what we might expect.

Awakening does happen and is later found to be what happened, it happens and then intellectual understanding maybe required to stabilize the realization.

Are you thinking of Ramana Maharshi or some other example of apparently spontaneous awakening?

I know for sure that it does because it happened here.

Do you want to elaborate on this? And also, define what you mean by awakening?

Where? Was there an awakening? OMG!

I like what he said - to be asleep to "me" is to be awake.

It's all about practicing awareness and peace, love, being, nothing more.

Why bother questioning and defining 'wakefulness' or 'enlightenment' It is already is defined by nature, it is just a bloom of a flower. Defining it will only distract the individual from the process of blooming, just head upwards and you will become a flower your self.

It is good to get things very well defined when having a conversation like this. Just from your post I can tell your definition is very different from mine.
