Ok, been reading and enjoying the questions that ATS raises for two years now and decided to join.

Right the questions I have asked myself for some time are:

At which point has the human race done so much, immediate and long term, damage to the planet that it has in fact committed global self extinction through self negligence and greed?

If we are currently in a position of pollution self recovery, what measures can we adopt to repair and preserve the Earth and the finely balanced natural world?

welcome to the site Andy, and a very pertinent question. Upsets me to think about it, im not sure even if we tried we could put the world back to the way it should be.

Thanks for the welcome. Pertinent indeed, but I feel it is "THE BIG QUESTION" we should all be asking of ourselves and each other.
