Again, if it's from one source, it is biased.

Would you please elaborate?

Your inadequate one liner did not provide enough insight for me to understand your point.

When you say "one source" do you mean RT or the Bolivian government?

Forgive me for all the questions it's just your one liner was not very effective at proving a point.

The point is as you say. One source.

Really you cannot be that blind? If Obama had said the same thing, I truly doubt you would believe it.

Here's what Wikipedia says about Morales

Juan Evo Morales Ayma (born October 26, 1959), popularly known as Evo (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈeβo]), is a Bolivian politician and activist, serving as President of Bolivia, a position that he has held since 2006. He is also the leader of both the Movement for Socialism party (MAS) and the Cocalero trade union. Politically a socialist leader, the cornerstone of his presidency has been a focus on implementing new policies in the country, introducing a new constitution, land reforms, nationalizing various key industries, opposing United States involvement in the country's politics, and reducing poverty.[

He eventually settled into growing coca, becoming actively involved in the coca growers' trade union, the cocalero movement. Becoming a well known activist amongst the campesinos (rural laborers), he was known for leading the resistance against the U.S. government's attempts to eradicate coca crops grown to produce coc aine as a part of their wider War on Drugs.

oh and this

A critic of the United States' foreign policy and the involvement of transnational corporations in Latin America, he has been a firm ally of the socialist governments of Hugo Chávez in Venezuela and Fidel Castro in Cuba. In October 2009, Morales was named "World Hero of Mother Earth" by the General Assembly of the United Nations.[5]

I'm glad we managed to get as far as page two of a thread before one of these ignorant statements.

-----

Sometmes I wonder whether the US government is paying these tyes of posters to deliberately spread hate so that the US military machine can keep on finding new enemies in once friendly nations. Surely americans don't really think this way?

I guess its all part of full spectrum dominance and the new american century.

Actually, the biggest enemy of any American is cold, hard logic.

Sure, blame the government yet, people can't stop electing morons.

If the US was an actual functioning democracy, which it is not, then I would consider your point about voting a valid one.

If the world was run with cold hard logic it would be a hell of a place to live in....if you were a Vulcan.

Is that tinfoil hat cutting off the oxygen supply to your brain?

You see, this is my beef with ATS.

All negativity, ALL THE TIME.

No one ever sees ANYTHING positive about this country and unfortunately, it's contagious on here. That is why I stopped coming here everyday.

ATS is nothing but a vortex of pessimism and negativity.

Which source, there are multiple people making multiple claims, and various news agencies reporting on it. My intention was not to be confrontational, I was trying to get you to explain your stance, which is difficult to understand when you keep providing one or two line posts that are not anywhere near complete.

All I ask is a bit more of clarification in your posts so I actually no what you are talking about.

And nice ad-hom...I guess I am blind now since your posts lack definition

And if Obama or any other "Leader" were to provide anything that can be considered as "irrefutable" I would probably be shocked and amazed.

But to automatically not believe something just because it does not fit your "realm of reality" may be a showcase of ignorance...I made sure to explain that none of this is proven but there are a lot of suspicious activities going down there, and not just in Bolivia and you seem absolutely convinced that Bolivia is lying and that the US would never dare perform any act such as meddle in another country, especially in South America....and you call me blind

I've had some conversations with an ex abc guy that was active in central and south america.
The abc's MO was to support anyone who was favorable to the usa.
If they weren't favorable they'd be taken out and someone who was favorable was put into power.

So I'm not surprised.

It is common knowledge that US sabotages covertly whoever it can.
(even sabotages Canada when it comes to meat and lumber trade)

That's the thing with Israel too. Israel doesn't just sit there like a
neighbor watching you across the fence, it overtly sabotages you as a neighbor.

And poor average American asks,

Why do they hate us ???

A leader always says his evidence is irrefutable. Do you not remember Bush?

You keep mentioning multiples sources, but you only linked one, which says multiple people, but that is still one source.

I'm sorry to inform you, but this is still one source. One source from one administration.

There is simply not a wide selection of viewpoints here. In fact, it seems there's just one. The Bolivian government.

The American view point is briefly mentioned as well.

Larry Mermmot, the US diplomatic representative in La Paz, said that he was confident that 2013 would see the ambassadors restored in both countries.

Well Mr Larry Mermmot seems to think everything is all fine.

But, could it be that the US started first by making hypocritical accusations

A significant bone of contention in these tensions is drug-trafficking in Bolivia. A damning report released by the American government last year ranking Bolivia, along with Venezuela and Burma, as “failing demonstrably during the previous 12 months to adhere to their obligations under international counternarcotics agreements."

President Morales denied the findings, accusing the US of hypocrisy and calling the illicit drugs trade with Latin America the US’ “best business.”

LOL at the USA criticizing anyone over drug policies domestically or abroad.

And this isn't even related to the "irrefutable evidence", not that we know of at least, and who knows if it even exists?

There is most likely more to this story than what the sources have said so far.

I tend to agree with you in general, but I'm not referring solely to the state of politics in the US alone, I think democracy is a joke. Not the idea of democracy, which is all fine, but the way it works, which is bollocks. It doesn't, with mass media the general public opinion is easy to influence and manipulate etc. I'm not proposing an alternative, I don't have one, but US politics is so glaringly farcical it's a good example of how democracy is a bunch of pants.

That's not being negative is it? I don't think it is, although somebody might say that unless I have a better alternative I should just shut up.

Negativity abounds on ATS, why do you think that is? I think it's because of human nature, on a deep primal level one of our base motivations is fear. The conspiracy world is full of fear and anger, it is also full of people trying to conquer their fear and anger, that's when a lot of em leave.

Look at me I'm rambling.....

Edit: I like American people, I like the idea of America, I'm not a US hater, but the American government....that's another thing.

Proof of US “harassment” of the Bolivian government will be handed over to President Obama, he added.

And into the shredder it goes...

This looks like a very important thread. Can someone summarize the importance on a global level. I went through the whole thread but still don't get it. I am not bright but trying to understand this message. I'm trying to wake up to the issue at hand. CE, I am Canadian as well. Thx. Kinda embarrassed actually, I usually clue in.

For those of us that cannot even paint by number, please let us know how Bolivia is this important cog at this time. I am more than willing to support a cause that seems so worthy.

Hmm this is so out of character for the US, they would never try to meddle in another counties affairs, and they especially wouldn't interfere with a democratically elected government.

Oh, wait
