That same Twitter feed is talking about a shooting spree in Annapolis now.

Eh maybe it was a joke, I'm getting to old for social networking sites.

Well just to humor everyone, what could cause a vast power grid failure over several different countries and or states?

my two "theories" would be, Weather (duh), Some great power surge from something drawing on to much power at one time, or Mayans hacked the power grid to make people S# themselves a tad bit

I was very VERY calm until I saw this one.......

(reaching for a reason)

Could it be there's just too many people up, on twitter and news websites waiting on the end of the world causing overloads or something..?

You would be correct there worldwatcher!!! Winter Storm "Draco" is on its way to the East Coast with winds in excess of twenty miles per hour. With wind gusts up to if not exceeding forty miles per hour. This is the storm that dumped upwards of two feet of snow across the Midwestern United States. I'm not out of the woods with it on my end either. I'm in the Charleston, WV area and they are calling for anywhere between four and seven inches of snow here.

Best collection of videos are here

z6mag.com...

I've seen quite a few transformers blow (weather, birds/ squirrels, & car accidents) & I've never seen one of them change colors like this. They've always been blue or white. Pretty weird. (No, I don't buy into the doomsday stuff)

I am in Little Rock ..other than a unseasonably warm winter ( yesterday was 70 and we had a tornado watch) and a day of low 40's with extremely high winds, there is nothing out of sorts here. In fact it is much calmer now than it has been for most of the day. Then again, I didn't expect anything to happen so I am not disappointed.

Wind so bad in North Eastern Ohio I swore it was going to push in one of my wind facing walls to my bedroom, nothing I HAVEN'T heard before, BUT it did come all of a sudden, there was NO BUILDUP- but since the past hour it has been picking up speed and roaring louder and louder, I was hoping to get some sleep, but now that seems impossible with the earth having so much wind, maybe it shouldn't have ate Mexican food?..ba-dum-tish.
