So, can we speculate?

What are the odds this shows up in this movie?

This isn't just another "coincidence". It was put there on purpose.

Sandy Hook is also a town in New Jersey.

It is a map of Gotham City, so it may just be that a set designer was from Sandy Hook, NJ.

I never heard it mentioned either way. Some anti gun people seem to think all us gun owners should have to go out and spend 5 grand on a huge cast iron safe for it to be stored safely. Personally, I have all my guns but two stored in a solid wood case, I have my AR15 close and loaded at all times, along with one of my more powerful rifles loaded by the back door. If someone were to break in when no one was home, a sledgehammer would render my case useless, I really don't have to worry about that here though.

I don't have any children, so a simple case should be fine. Right now I don't have any guns, but I would like to get a ccw permit. I think in today's day and age, you need one. And I am a very good shot. I've fired a long gun (mossburg I think) before, I've fired a short paint ball gun, and I'm deadly with a recurve bow. Something we did in alternative gym, actually. I'm more fond of the bow myself, but I'll take what I can get my hands on. I have found, I prefer guns with no sights. Irritated a cousin in law who's a Sheriff in W.VA. He's also a weapons trainer for them. He prefers signts, and we were out in the woods one time just shooting, and with sights I can't see diddly, but without sights, I'm deadly. He's the opposite. Or at least was back in the day. LOL (Trust me when I say he's one of the nice ones. He's seriously a sweet guy!) Even though his cousin is divorcing me, his family refuses to cut ties with me. They think his cousin is an idiot. That's how sweet his family is.

I swear, there's something wrong with America when people suggest more guns, in schools, in response to this tragedy!

For hunting I prefer a bow, except for moose. My AR15 is for when the giant coyotes up here get brave and come onto my land. The time it would take for me to take 2 padlocks off, load up, then go outside, might be the time it takes for a bunch of the animals to get snatched. The big bore rifle is for aggressive bears. No kids, I do keep my room locked when my little cousins are here visiting though. Too many swords and guns in my room

I am still looking for the batman screenshot, 1:58 don't line up with my copy.

OK,here it comes....Somebody's gonna utter those stupid sheeple bah-moo noises....

If EVERYBODY could exersize their 2nd amendment protections, and bear arms cuz they were allowed to,no permittage or crap like that, these retards who do things like this would surely never have the opportunity to kill themselves or others.

If we all had the choice to pack a gun, these things would be fixed before the cops even got there.

Removing one's option to defend one's self leaves one helpless against those who would take advantage of them.

This is why governments always want to take weapons,or place limitations on ownership of weapons.

anyways............................................................................................................................................... ......................

It doesn't exist in the copy I have, the screenshot part of the movie. It is an R5 rip from when it was in theatres though, not a DVD rip.

My dad let my husband borrow his Elephant hunting gun he picked up along his travels for the Air Force. He was very ticked off when my husband sold it to another cousin of his ( a weed head for a very cheap amount.) Needless to say he does NOT think of my husband fondly. LOL (Forgive me but I don't know what kind of gun it was.) I do know my husband had a Kitana, some ninja sais, and when his grandfather was fighting WWI, or WWII, not sure which, he picked a Nazi sword off a soldier that his aunt his holding onto for him. He has seen it, it is authentic and has been told it's worth a ton!

Those that think no one was killed because you haven't seen the blood or the autposy photos please take a large FAKE! picket sign to the school or to the funerals. You'll be a hit.

Here is to all the families that were devastated by this act of violence. God Blissings to everyone that was affected by this selfish act, if it was 100 percent Adam or other.

The following attempt by me is to uncover the car and the New Jersey plates. Why would they circulate the NJ plates other than he may have had his brothers id? Didnt they see the car plates prior to finding the ID?

Maybe the plates were and the mother had the car registered in NJ. ,Rumor ,, hear say?? How can someone mess up the plates by looking at them?

I do understand that the car was thought to be from NJ with plates when the cops cordoned it off how can you miss confirm the Plates of a car?

Very upsetting and the only other comment is “to many chefs in the kitchen on this one. The feds should stay out and let the state deal with these situations. When you have to many chefs in the kitchen the meal my not be what someone intended..

God Bless everyone that cares. Ps I cry when I hear of other people on this planet get massacred too! Very difficult to get this together, the websites really are not too friendly on copy and paste..

The following is from sources noted…. Crimes of this magnitude require less people at the scene…

police have cordoned off a black Honda with New Jersey plates believed to belong to the dead shooter.

Two handguns have been recovered at the scene and police have cordoned off a black Honda with New Jersey plates believed to belong to the dead shooter.

Authorities initially believed that there were two gunmen and were searching cars around the school, but authorities do not appear to be looking for another gunman

gma.yahoo.com...

The gunman, identified as Adam Lanza, 24, of New Jersey, was killed inside of the school.

The Bushmaster AR15 rifle found in the trunk of Adam Lanza’s car was also her’s.

Law enforcement sources said the Bushmaster was recovered in the car, but Vance denied that assertion at a news conference.

He also had an assault-style rifle in his car, but did not bring it into the school
Source: www.nbcchicago.com...

Police say that Lanza drove to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown in his mother's car.

Three guns were found at the scene - a Glock and a Sig Sauer, both pistols, inside the school, and a .223-caliber rifle in the back of a car.

My two cents.. too many inaccuracies leave incompetence. People (MSM) should fired, and or keep them away and do not let them close to any crimes b/c they are in competent. Police and authorities should not talk with them… Confusion is for us to concentrate on this and not other things.. again Blissing to all! Hope all the links work after previewing.

ps added later... how could he have had all these guns and ammo and still managed to be an accurate shooter ???

we just been had

People don't want a rent a cop armed and shooting people. But they want to arm someone they pay even less and stick them in a class room full of bullies. And i am not referring to these kids as bullies but just look at the video of the school bus monitor who cried. Yes she made millions for her tears but that is another story.

my guess is we will never hear of a girlfriend again. kid doesnt look like the kind to have a girlfriend, and if he did, she would likely be nothing but a manipulator who compromised the accused. the police scanner reports and the man in the woods lead me to believe this isnt a cut and dry case, we will never know the truth, and there are very evil people behind this.

and as for the debate about what constitutes close range, he was obviously close enough to all of them and effectively had them cornered in a classroom to cause the damage that he did.
obviously you didn't read the MEs report which clearly states only 2 of the 7? he examined were shot AT close range. that means everyone else (of those he had examined) were shot from a distance greater than 2ft away.

now, this can mean several things but the concept of "frozen by fear" doesn't really work here.
and, unless we are shown/told that they were cornered in a classroom, that is pure speculation on your part.

anyone else noticing that the adults (featured in interviews) who were escorted out remarkably or reportedly kept their eyes closed ?? i find that a bit hard to swallow.

John Douglas was one of the original FBI profilers, going into prisons to develop psychological profiles of serial killers, spree killers, and mass murderers. He has written a number of interesting books on the subject. Here is what he has to say about mass slayers--people who kill a lot of victims in one setting:

From "The Anatomy of Motive" by John Douglas (Scribners)

"Generally speaking, mass murderers are white males, ranging from their mid-to-late thirties to their mid-to-late forties.

"....and he'll be an asocial loner.

"The identity of the person who's responsible for this crime should not come as any surprise to his community. This is someone who's had a history of turmoil in this locale.

"Most likely, too, there was a specific precipitating stressor to cause him to act when he did.

"This is not somebody who ever blended into the community.

"Those around him thought of him as weird or strange. They had an uncomfortable feeling about him that they might not even have been able to place or articulate.

"You would look for (the perpetrator) to have written letters, perhaps to the school principle(speaking of Dunblane here) or....the local newspaper....

"These types are much more comfortable with the written form of communication and so they'll express themselves in diaries... When they feel they are not getting satisfaction, they may escalate and address their grievances at an even higher level. In the U.S., it could be to the president."

Does Adam Lanza fit this profile? I would argue that he does not, for the most part.

Psycological Profile..

"Their fear wasn't that he was dangerous. "It was completely the opposite," said Richard J. Novia, the director of security at Newtown School District at the time in 2007. "At that point in his life, he posed no threat to anyone else. We were worried about him being the victim"

Lanza had entered the school heavily armed. He had three guns -- two handguns and the Bushmaster .223-caliber assault rifle that he used to force his way in and kill most of his victims -- along with hundreds of bullets, at least 30 magazines per gun and extra ammunition, police said. Lanza ultimately used a handgun to kill himself, state police said, and the three guns, the rifle, a Glock 10 mm and a Sig Sauer 9 mm, were found by his body. A fourth gun, a shotgun, was found in Lanza's car outside the school, police said.

hahahahahahaha, so they say

there is no way that twig of a boy was carrying all of that on his person ... not a chance.

90 loaded clips ?? 3 weapons ... nope, not seeing it.
don't they have ANY clue how much weight that is ??
since i haven't seen a recent photo of Lanza, i really don't know but, i seriously doubt Adam was a weight trainer or a lumber jack of a man like he'd have to be in order to manage the load they're describing.
