Do Freemasons worship demons!? I used to think not. Then I read this.

I was refering to Theology class but if you were writing essays and preparing papers on this in 3rd grade more power to you.

Past that, I don't know anyone who actually remembers what they learned in those classes.

I do, obviously.

So in Christianity (which we are clear you do not ascribe to) - who is Jesus why did He come and what are the mechanics behind the fall of man?

This is rather irrelevant to the topic and even more irrelevant to me as I do not believe any of this dogma.

Either way it looks bad. But now, I ask again, WHAT is the quickest way to spot a con-artist!?

He insists that you believe in Uncle Ponto?

1,000 bucks for a super secret demon killing Rosary from a company that purports the Virgin Mary is God and has been excommunicated.

I have two, one to keep Uncle Ponto away and one for Aunt Floopy.

Anti-Masonry is much more popular and profitable than helping "narrow minded" Masons such as yourself understand how it breeds.

Aw, you are just upset because I do not adhere to your Satan-beliefs.

Please tell me you take pride in something other than your intelligence. Shiny car maybe?

Give a serious answer. If you want to find out if someone is a con artist what is the single most effective way?

Aahh screw it you aren't gonna answer. The answer is simple. Talk to them.

In any given circumstance, what is the desire of a con artist?

I am just waiting on him to realize it. It is taking longer than expected.

Oh fine, I'll just give the answers. Doubt anyone has a serious response.

The easiest way to spot a con artist is to talk to them.

Their desired outcome of a con artist is almost always to make themselves look better.

There are always variables that have to be accounted for, but that is the basic idea. This will generally only apply to conversations that are relaxed, among "friends" or perhaps over the internet.

You see the difference?

So if another puts his faith in Dieu or Gott, they are to be condemned? And if not, why not?

No. For us to make that call would contradict dogma.

Might want to check your census there. I'm not a Yank but I believe your numbers are askew and diminishing.

Just sayin'.

So maybe in another hundred years the group that founded this country on Christian beliefs will stop being accused of worshiping Satan? Or am I asking too much of you there? As you can see, the accusations are absurd and easily refuted....

They are; IIRC, it was 14 of 43 that were Masons (less than a third). Even if they were a clear majority, would you then happily accept the proposal that the States was founded on Satanism? Because your argument is trending in that direction

Ahh...so now you are saying it is "religion" that caused the death and war - and was not just used as an excuse (or tool) to do so?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think any war has been started by anyone who had a clear and unadulterated understanding of the directions of the Supreme Being of their faith. The problems have arisen from those with their hearts nominally in the next life while their heads and feet were VERY firmly planted in this one

I like that, it is mostly true. I would say for all of the dominant religions today, Islam included, it is true. Depends on who the supreme being is though, and definitely on their level of understanding.

The problem arises the most when extremists take things out of context, well at least that is what I have seen. I know the Christian Bible warns about that. Right in the beginning of the NT actually....

You couldn't care less. Otherwise, there's something on this Earth that means even less to you. Properly, "I could care less" should be "I could care less?"

Important distinction [/grammar nazi]

You would be serving God/Goodness/Love.

Wow!

So them ferren folks who talk about Dieu and Gott are actually Satanists/non-Godly people? I never wouldathunkit. Good thing the Word of God came down in English!

So it is you who fears demons, and therefore pretends that they are not real. Thanks for the insight
.

'K...let me parse this. If I fear something, I pretend it doesn't exist. Is that your final answer?

Do you perhaps recognise the logical disconnect in that assertion? Logically, if I fear something I MUST believe it exists elsewise there isn't anything to fear.

Personally, I believe such creatures could exist. However my faith in the Almighty must by definition keep them at by, must it not?

This is exactly wtf I am talking about here. Freemasons helped found this country that I love on Christian principles, and now are being accused of demon worship and it is predominantly Christian!

Have you ever wondered WHY THAT IS!?

The U.S. if you want to split hairs (and less than a third of the founding fathers were Masons [details, details]). So, the challenge becomes were the US founding fathers covert-Satanists-masquerading-as-Christians? Or are Masons now covert-Satanists-masquerading-as-Christians? Or none of the above?

If put back in context there is no logical disconnect. If taken out of the context yes there would appear to be one.

IDK, I take the book of Job to be Divinely written.

I also believe the demons tempt us, and even worse sometimes when allowed. Things can be allowed for a variety of reasons (as Job would show) and does not indicate sin.

I also believe that if not for God they would have killed us all already. So yes in a way God keeps them at bay (I am assuming that is what you meant by "by" there).

ETA from the best of what I can see the reason this is even allowed in the first place is most likely to test us.
