It really has, especially over the last 10 years! I drank a bunch of vodka and orange juice once when I was a kid and was ruined on both beverages
BUT, I have been serving this stuff to you vodka lovers for over a decade and times have changed!
It used to be three shelves:
The bottom (well) shelf, bar vodka, like Jaquins or Smirnoff.
The Middle shelf, you had the Stoolies the Absolute, maybe a few others.
And the Top shelf…Gray Goose, Belvedere, Kettle One…
We only had few flavors like Mandarin, Lemon, and Raspberry, but that was about it FOREVER!
NOW vodka seems to be all the rage in these parts. You can get this stuff in just about any flavor you can think of. Whipped cream, Swedish fish,
chocolate even breakfast cereal:
Every time I see a new flavor I come back to the same thought, which is the reason I decided to write this OP.
Vodka has been around for practically forever!! I read a few articles and it turns out I was right about that. The good Polish folks of the 1500’s
were using it for medicinal purposes, then later, the fine Russians started drinking it. They still argue over who invented it.
Anyway I always think: They have been making vodka FOREVER and All of a Sudden it’s a big old flavor frenzy!!
Wonder what took so long?
Lastly, I will be trying to add a few photos to this OP, wish me luck and enjoy your VODKA!!
And Please, drink responsibly!!
