You threw down the jazz, classical, rock 'n roll and some ol' school grooviness with a great touch of varying style and class. Feels like being schooled in a new frame of sound as quite a few of the acts you put forth i've never heard of before, such as Spacemen 3 and Canned Heat---great name too!

What can I tell you Ima? Except that your taste in music is superb!
Spaceman 3 spectacular! Not that the other's weren't as well because they are. Just that I have Herbie's albums and Farka's and the other's but Spaceman I do not and really loved their sound.

Question about the film: Never saw that film can't say that I care to. I remember when I saw Caligula (which is along the same bent and twisted lines) I wasn't impressed. The only thing it served was to show just how twisted humans can be.

I have always liked Tomi - he is real grit..............no bulls&*t just life in its beautiful heartache. He makes no bones about that........and doesn't pretend for the sake of ego or vanity.........he wears the human condition full on and can see through bull crap. I respect that.

Did you mean Parthogenisis by Canned Heat? (link doesn't work and that is the only one I can think of). If so yes. I haven't listened to that in years but filled with amazing talent. It amazes me how much talent, feel and sound change..................its like a living entity in how time and change creates new music.

If you listen to the music created skipping 10 years at a time you can really hear it. So what that tells me is that the changes that take place are on a physics level that literally transforms everything.

Animal Collective - oh yeah old favorite and hard not to love them.
