Okay, so the Hobbit part one comes out very soon, and i seriously can't wait.
I seriously hope they don't stray to far from the book, how ever it is peter jackson so i think he will do as much as he can.
After all i do think he did a fantastic job with the Lord of The Rings movies too.

What part are you looking forward to seeing in the filim the most?

I have never given a rip about Lord of the Rings. And people tell me that's very weird being both a Christian and a Star Wars fan.

Fair enough, each to their own i suppose. Personall i love star wars and Lord of the rings, i think they are both brilliant in their own ways.

Have you tried to watch them before?

Yay, I forgot all about this! I can't wait to see it, thanks for the reminder!

My dad loves Tolkien and was always trying to get me to read Lord of the Rings when I was a kid but I could never manage it...Read The Hobbit a couple of times though and loved it so really looking forward to this

I wonder why people say that PJ did a great job on LOTR, considering he cut out 3/4 of the most important storylines..

Like the ENTIRE ENDING at the shire..

Anyway..

I expect the hobbit to be more of same with updated CGI.

Awell like i said each to their own, tis kind of a shame cos i think they are brilliant, admitidly the second and third are a lot more action filled and i prefer them, but the over all story line and progession of the fellowship in all 3 is something i really love as an over all.

Yeah he did which was a shame, and even in the extended versions there was still a lot more that he could have added in if time and money were not an issue.

I know what you mean i felt liek there was a lot missing, but i also feel that with what he could manage, he has done a pretty good job of creating three fantastic movies from 3 amazing books.

Hmm i wont disagree with you, im not expecting everything that was in The Hobbit book, to be in the movie, but he does go for the parts that will have impact, and the filim is apparently in two parts, so with any joy, there will be less of the important parts missed.
well fingers crossed any way.
