I just went through some of the "news" channels and I caught the panel on msnbc saying they were not going to be giving poll information. Maybe it is the choice of the host? The panel said they didn't want "sway" voters....
I just wanted a laugh so was going through the msnbc, current, cnn and fox...pretty ridiculous crap. Sure would be nice if there was a "real" news outlet that wasn't twisted left or right in opinion editorial crapola...oh well
(Reuters) - Stocks climbed on Tuesday as some investors bet that Republican Mitt Romney could pull off a surprise victory in the presidential vote, citing gains in defense and energy shares.
Defense shares like United Technologies shot higher, raising some market speculation that Romney,, who has called for increased military spending, could be moving ahead of Democratic President Barack Obama in the vote

I have to admit that my confidence is not so high about the final results.
I think you will have to change your avatar....

Great thread Beezer! I'm surprised no one else caught it for exit numbers and projections either.
Try this one on for size: Take the Exit Poll!
It had just over 27,000 votes when I took it and it carried about the same numbers as your MSNBC poll......exactly the opposite.
So much for polls and reliability. lol..... I'd give MSNBC about as much credibility too. It's not even them personally today. it's the idea anyone coming out of a polling place can be trusted to give an honest answer. Heck, no one's ever asked me but I'd be tempted to throw them a ringer answer just to screw with their poll. I'm sure I'm far from alone in finding it amusing to tweak the nose of the MSM. ...and that's why I'm personally finding entertainment in the polls but won't give them any weight. The real polls start after the voting locations start closing in several hours.

Hi Beezer thank you for this thread, one question I have is about Florida, since you were watching it on tv have they been able to vote and is it going smoothly? How are they voting in light of how Obama has handled Sandy?
Anyway, I need a place to come and hang out tonight as the process unfolds, I am going nuts alone here with noone to really discuss this with in real life.

I thought I had seen an article that said the networks had agreed to shield any exit poll results until the polls in that state closed.
Would love to see that. I guess MSNBC didn't sign?
