Mayans saw the future with the help of Aliens?? Bring your minds along for the ride!!

Let's all just believe that aliens were on Earth when the Mayans were around.....According to a bunch of pictures and old paintings on walls support this thought.

Now here is my thinking......We see this star dying NOW with this star being 650 light years away, means this happened 650 years ago today.....

What if aliens ACTUALLY took some of the Mayans to outer space and showed them a catastrophic event that is happening over 5,000 light years away from us?? I believe the Mayan calandar was made approx. 3114 BC.....Date is not that important for this theory....But they saw the event first hand, considered them gods and came back knowing the fate of mankind to make the calandar??

Please, this is just a thought, and I am firmly NOT a 2012 believer at all, so don't bash me......Just reading these threads this thought hit me and I wanted to share this with ATS to see what you guys and gals think......

What if the Olympians and Atlanteans (Gods) were real and not myth? What if they influenced the Maya and left the Earth before an "ele"? Who knows.. lol

I like thinking about all the possibilities but we will never know unless they comes back and tell us.

The Maya (I have read) believe their ancestors will be coming back. Does that mean they were Gods? Maybe.

I happen to believe we are all "Gods" (not THE GOD/Source/Creator though) but we have lost our powers because of the density of the Planet now or maybe because we have the veil over our eyes that prevents us from remembering what we can actually do with our minds.

I personally don't think it was necessary to have the Mayans go that may light years away from earth in order to see disaster. I think that the fate of the earth goes in cycles.

If anybody has ever read the classic "A Canticle For Leibowitz" (an older book, not too many youngsters have read it), it makes the case that civilization goes in cycles, and when it reaches its pinnacle, it is destroyed. In the book, it is man who destroys it.

Also, the book "Fingerprints of The Gods" by Graham Hancock also makes the case that destruction and rebuilding goes in cycles, and there are a few left over pieces of proof from the last great age before destruction on a massive scale occurred. If I'm not mistaken, I think the cycles run around 13,000 years.

Whether the Mayans had help from Aliens concerning their vision of our future, I cannot say (although, I kind of believe they did). Some archaeologists say that in many ancient myths lies not only the truth about these cycles, but also celestial mechanics.

We seem to be at the end of yet another cycle. An interesting, if uncertain, time to be alive.

I am not saying one way or another, but like I said it just popped into my brain and I thought to share it.....

If that did happen and we are all going to "disappear" sometime in the near future, that would suck!! I just had a baby and am living in the finest times of my life right now......

Just something to ponder on, whether you believe it or not is a completely different idea altogether!!

Your words are like a breath of fresh air MamaJ...indeed many of us are "g"ods...for anything/anyone beneath us we can choose to uplift or choose to suppress...are we a vengeful "g"od or a loving "g"od? it's a choice...The big "G"od would be realization we are in a set pattern(like an octave) and as easily as you can look above you into the sky you can see that we are beneath/within a larger system..this IDEA of a larger macrocosmic/microcosmic loop is the greater God.

IMHO I doubt god needs to travel here in a spaceship...man will make the ships with insights from the God...and occasionally an avatars will come in Gods place...they will appear among you, look like you, but act differently and teach of different things...

I didn't say the gods came in spaceships......I said ALIENS came in spaceships to show the Mayans this event....

Then the Mayans deemed the aliens "gods" when they were just aliens.....

What do you think about the topic? You have a lot of insight for another poster in this thread, I would like to hear more about what you believe regarding this??

I believe God has a plan for all of us, if this happens to be true then so be it......But I would like it not to be true!!

Your post about deep in the waters intrigues me also because there is so much area of Earth we haven't even looked at yet....ie the deep ocean........Yet we still find it more important to probe other planets and look for things there??

Hmm is there a reason why it is that you feel that some visitors will not be peaceful I can underestand this but the LORD is a powerful being Chrisfishenstein, many are just starting to consider Panspermia type events on EA*RTH imagine them being guided into assessed growth zones throughout the universe and then later checked up on by some with long if not eternal environment suits. I can understand from a more guardian position how some would not be open arms about welcoming them but if they were here in the past and still many humans are here today then they must not seek total annihilation of humanity. But again I can see your point. and hope they do come in peace but I do keep an out of box mind just in case thats not the case.

my friend did you ever think those in the deep are guiding EA*RTH activities above ground within the cosmos for an ancient agenda, just something to think about like they may use above ground detection systems maybe looking out for something or some beings more cosmic related (if not data shared they hack) . It seems in time many shall know those who are too. I do however detect a slight bit of discomfort with you processing the thought of them returning, but all 1 can recommend is keep your faith and if you ever meet them study them like they would be studying the new more advanced you w/o fear though. (some Maya may have left with them well those they chose)

the Maya had 4 previous 'Great Years' that were 5,120 years long.... before the start of the current Great Year which began in 3114bce and ends 12-21-2012ad

so they did not create their calendar like you say... the calendar is likely another hand-me-down from the predecesser culture 'Olmecs' Or perhaps the ~26,000 year great cycle of precession itself was made known to Maya predecessor cultures by Aliens,,,,, and the Maya created the 'history' of 4 previous eras of 5,120 years each



26,000years divided by 5 maya calendar periods = 5,200 years each

12-21-2012 is the end date of the 5th (Maya) World or the culmination of the ~26,000 precession cycle

I'm not sure I follow your reasoning. You are proposing that the aliens took the Mayans out into space to view some event 5,000 lys away from the earth. How far did the aliens take them out? Was the event they witnessed that of the earth, or some other cosmic entity?

If the aliens took the Mayans 5,000 lys out to view the earth in say, 3000BC, then they would just now be getting there (assuming their speed was limited to the speed of light). When they turn around and look at the earth, it will appear as it did when they left (5,000 years ago), not as it is now.

So even if there is some cataclysmic earth event in 2012, we would be the first to see it. Those same Mayans out in space wouldn't be able to view it for another 5,000 years. And if they did witness it and decided to come back to earth and write about it, it would still take them another 5,000 year to get back here. By then it's old news.

Show me a Mayan Astrophysicist, then we can talk.

The "Light heart" paragraph got me as well. Ive always said I don't want to die with hatred and guilt on my heart.... very well said!!!

In regards to the Op.... when I think of aliens I do think of the spirit world. I am not so sure there are beings within this realm as it would be too easy. Maybe they are able to travel here and if so, they may be us from the future. I have no idea.. but peoples experiences say they exist and some are even green and or grey. Its possible, but I can't make sense of how they fit in with the spiritual world and for me.... I have to make sense of everything. lol

Im thinking.... a LONG TIME AGO the atmosphere was less dense and we were not completely manifested in the physical body. We could do a lot more than we can now..... but the tides are turning and I really hope one day we get back to the true spirit form... on Earth.

I hope the Mayan ancestors (whoever they are, whatever they look like) will come back and teach us a thing or two.

Im not so sure the OP is talking about an alignment nor what a physicist has to say on the subject.

IF (big if) the Op is claiming the maya are responsible for the hype of some sort of alignment this reading will help he/she understand a little better about said alignment, but again I am not so sure the OP is even assuming an alignment. calendarinthesky.org... x

There are in fact others saying it has nothing to do with an alignment, they (Mayans) just saw great changes (Golden Age) and their ancestors coming back. www.maya12-21-2012.com...

The OP was stating they may be aliens of some sort and could see into the future, which is possible.... as anything is possible in the grand scheme of things.

They're THAT smart n advanced........This is assuming for 1 you believe in aliens and 2 that you believe THEIR tech is much more advanced than ours......

Why do people need an alien to walk up to your door and say hi, or god for that matter, to believe in them??

I could have a recording of such an event with proof and witnesses and you would be the first to say, he is just looking to sell it for money and cash in......
