What if the Olympians and Atlanteans (Gods) were real and not myth? What if they influenced the Maya and left the Earth before an "ele"? Who knows.. lol

I like thinking about all the possibilities but we will never know unless they comes back and tell us.

The Maya (I have read) believe their ancestors will be coming back. Does that mean they were Gods? Maybe.

I happen to believe we are all "Gods" (not THE GOD/Source/Creator though) but we have lost our powers because of the density of the Planet now or maybe because we have the veil over our eyes that prevents us from remembering what we can actually do with our minds.

I personally don't think it was necessary to have the Mayans go that may light years away from earth in order to see disaster. I think that the fate of the earth goes in cycles.

If anybody has ever read the classic "A Canticle For Leibowitz" (an older book, not too many youngsters have read it), it makes the case that civilization goes in cycles, and when it reaches its pinnacle, it is destroyed. In the book, it is man who destroys it.

Also, the book "Fingerprints of The Gods" by Graham Hancock also makes the case that destruction and rebuilding goes in cycles, and there are a few left over pieces of proof from the last great age before destruction on a massive scale occurred. If I'm not mistaken, I think the cycles run around 13,000 years.

Whether the Mayans had help from Aliens concerning their vision of our future, I cannot say (although, I kind of believe they did). Some archaeologists say that in many ancient myths lies not only the truth about these cycles, but also celestial mechanics.

We seem to be at the end of yet another cycle. An interesting, if uncertain, time to be alive.

Your words are like a breath of fresh air MamaJ...indeed many of us are "g"ods...for anything/anyone beneath us we can choose to uplift or choose to suppress...are we a vengeful "g"od or a loving "g"od? it's a choice...The big "G"od would be realization we are in a set pattern(like an octave) and as easily as you can look above you into the sky you can see that we are beneath/within a larger system..this IDEA of a larger macrocosmic/microcosmic loop is the greater God.

I like the metaphor of how the words dog and god are a mirror with us in the middle...Man's 2 best friends. The way we act towards a dog is a reflection on how our god may treat and view us...I know many terrible dog owners...AS ABOVE, SO BELOW...do unto others(does this only imply fellow men?) as you would have them do unto you.

Give unto those below you and those above you will give unto you likewise...

IMHO I doubt god needs to travel here in a spaceship...man will make the ships with insights from the God...and occasionally an avatars will come in Gods place...they will appear among you, look like you, but act differently and teach of different things...

Hmm is there a reason why it is that you feel that some visitors will not be peaceful I can underestand this but the LORD is a powerful being Chrisfishenstein, many are just starting to consider Panspermia type events on EA*RTH imagine them being guided into assessed growth zones throughout the universe and then later checked up on by some with long if not eternal environment suits. I can understand from a more guardian position how some would not be open arms about welcoming them but if they were here in the past and still many humans are here today then they must not seek total annihilation of humanity. But again I can see your point. and hope they do come in peace but I do keep an out of box mind just in case thats not the case.

my friend did you ever think those in the deep are guiding EA*RTH activities above ground within the cosmos for an ancient agenda, just something to think about like they may use above ground detection systems maybe looking out for something or some beings more cosmic related (if not data shared they hack) . It seems in time many shall know those who are too. I do however detect a slight bit of discomfort with you processing the thought of them returning, but all 1 can recommend is keep your faith and if you ever meet them study them like they would be studying the new more advanced you w/o fear though. (some Maya may have left with them well those they chose)

If the aliens took the Mayans 5,000 lys out to view the earth in say, 3000BC, then they would just now be getting there (assuming their speed was limited to the speed of light). When they turn around and look at the earth, it will appear as it did when they left (5,000 years ago), not as it is now.

So even if there is some cataclysmic earth event in 2012, we would be the first to see it. Those same Mayans out in space wouldn't be able to view it for another 5,000 years. And if they did witness it and decided to come back to earth and write about it, it would still take them another 5,000 year to get back here. By then it's old news.

They're THAT smart n advanced........This is assuming for 1 you believe in aliens and 2 that you believe THEIR tech is much more advanced than ours......

Why do people need an alien to walk up to your door and say hi, or god for that matter, to believe in them??

I could have a recording of such an event with proof and witnesses and you would be the first to say, he is just looking to sell it for money and cash in......
