This woman must want to abandon her country like olde Rupert did....

She should be sent to live in Africa.

So she can see what kind of society $2 per day will get you.

Best be careful all those back stabbers you employ don't stab you in the back.
By the way money does not buy everyone and your attitude is fast becoming Archaic

Come to Adelaide, I'll take you to a Trout farm, or some illegal trout fishing in a botanic garden.

While she is waging her war we'll still be firing up our BBQ's and earning a decent buck. We have the minerals. Someone else will mine them if she doesn't. Hell, the government will mine them if a private company fails to.

Either way jobs will be there. She'll, clearly, still be eating children.

Maybe it's time for all the mine workers of the world to show solidarity with the STRIKING miners of South Africa.

And how many products have those Africans bought that make 2 dollars a day that were made with those minerals?
Money is the fluid that makes the world go around, and when it becomes concentrated into too few hands, depressions result.

Trickle down economics does not work, but trickle up poverty does happen, when the majority do not have the money to spend to keep all business's going.

Why is it that some of the most mineral rich areas on this Planet also lay claim to the highest levels of poverty?
This is certainly true of Africa, and looks like this woman hopes to see Australia follow suit.

Good question and I think we all know the answer, the pot of gold goes to the richest people while the diggers risking their lives are just looking to pay for that nights supper of rice or whatever.

Makes me want to weep and strike out at the top people, in a non violent way of-course.

Regards, Iwinder

Far better than most people do with their own money.

But, why worry about stuff like that?

I don't have any respect for parasites that openly mock the very same people that made their wealth accretion possible in the first place. She's graceless, obnoxious, a societal & cultural leech; mentally and physically repulsive. Whether or not she can multiply an inherited fortune means nothing to me; again if you read my post you'd realize what points I've been making. We already tolerate the exploitation of environmental conditions & resources by the elite; so there's no room for pigs like her who have the gall to [publicly] disparage those struggling, and those actually working hard.

Be careful?

I'm kind of counting on one of them doing it soon. I don't want to be in this business forever, and I would like my replacement to show their worth.

Or did you mean actually stab me? Maybe, but unlikely, they can't access the accounts with out me, so that is out of the question for now.

If you study history you will see the cycle.

One day there will be an uprising, a reorganization, and another period of growth with new rulers. Same game, different players.

Make the best of what you can when you can and keep on moving.

She played the current game and she played it well. You can hate her for it, or you can study how she did it and learn from it.

I prefer to study and learn.

Complete side, but parasites are vital to every living thing, including economies.

You know, the richest women in Africa only have at most $50 million dollars.... Maybe Gina should see that as an example, or a goal.

And then she should shut the [snip] up.

You sound disillusioned or is it you have made enough money to not require more.
Or perhaps you have become bored with your work and have other fish to fry
I am genuinely interested as you have the balls to be so upfront and honest

No-Stab you in the back Metaphorically as in backstabbers

why is it that when i look at her, this quote comes to mind. both in appearance and attitude. "get in my belly!"
it just describes her ravenous appetite in all things, just so.

Well Australia has a stupid carbon tax that has driven costs up and a stupid mining tax that has also driven costs up.
Iron ore has lost about 40% of its value in the last few years, if this keeps going on there will be no jobs in mining.
Gillard is a dunderhead who single Handley destroyed the Australian mining industry.

The opening post is a blatant lie, Rhinehart is telling everybody what will have to happen if the mining industry is to continue
Her comments are being sensationalised
‘The evidence is unarguable, Australia is indeed becoming too expensive and too uncompetitive to do export-oriented business,’ she said.
‘Furthermore, Africans want to work, and its workers are willing to work for less than $2 per day. Such statistics make me worry for this country's future.’

Mining is taxed into a position of uncompetitiveness. Its foreseeable the whole industry may collapse under the weight of taxes. Foreign investment is drying up and jobs are being cut right now.
www.abc.net.au...

Gillard is Australia's Obama.

...says the woman earning 52m a day.

She is on track to become the world's richest person. She's buying up our big media like fairfax, and she bought up channel ten and gave pro-billionare columnist Andrew Bolt his own show!

Rest of the world had better watch out.

Thanks for the invite... but alas too busy scraping up a living......

spent much of my youth trout fishing and bass fishing.... I have been working on foreclosed homes and picking up 40 or more fishing rods, tackle boxes lures and such.......

I loved the salmon fishing at Lake Ontario too in the fall... steelhead, Coho, brooks, browns and rainbow trout can be caught in all the tributaries out of the Great Lakes....

you never know what you find in a foreclosed house.... but often there is not much left be odds and ends..once in awhile you get lucky......

want me to send you a Jimmy Carter peanut lure? I had a good laugh when I found it. I must have $400 in lures

G,day all. Helen of Troy was called the face that launched a thousand ships. This is the face that sunk a thousand ships. gena bloody rinehart. A very cunning and manipulative, money hungry, obscenely overweight entity. Now, if she wants 2 dollar a day guest workers from Africa she will get them. Why?. Because she told Canberra where to go and is about to bring in 1700 asian guest workers for prob. 5 dollars a day. None will have had any shots. so we will prob see more cholera and hepatitis. Credit where it is due, she has a point about govt. control and rules. But i put it to you that she knows what the game is and is playing her part. If she didnt and wasnt she would have been put out of business by now. Thinking outside the box. Australia sailed under the radar re the global melt down. They took their eyes of the ball. So now we are to be brought to heel. The carbon tax mining tax and drunken govt borrowing and mis-spending. So maybe we are being told that our mining is to be run down for a while and re-located to Africe. I say for a while. Just long enough to break us. I was taught back in the late seventies that in the nwo Australia, part of zone 4 of the 10 world trading zones was to loose all manufacturing, sheep and cattle and grain industries and become the mining pit of the nwo. So we will see.
