Bill did a great job for Obama.

Somewhere in America Mitt is frowning and Ryan is crying.

So if Bill is playing the advocate, tonight and doing a superb job at it. Must mean that Obama is coming out swinging tomorrow night. I can't wait to see that.

Clinton's a national treasure. The two-man photo op at the end sealed the unity of this party. Good luck countering this, GOP.

It's hard to imagine how.

Republicans will never come to terms with this, but Bill Clinton was probably the best president we have had since JFK. Love him or hate him, but what he did in the 90's to overcome the "vast right wing conspiracy" against him is simply amazing.

Obama has done a yeoman job despite being handed a country not on the verge of a depression, but was in reality in a depression. But, I don't think anyone in politics can compare to the star that is Bill Clinton. Heck, if you are a sports fan, I would venture to say that Clinton is the "Michael Jordan" of our generation.

You can call this trolling if you want but I call it an observation.
When I watched the YA and NAY vote to return God and the Jews back into the Democratic platform it seemed to me the NAYS won, at best it was even.My point being, when did the Dems plan this circus, yesterday?
What this has showen me is why the country is still in the fix it is if this is the best the Dems can do for there convention.
The really sad part about the convention is it is full of hate and anger..................just like the Dem party, a perfict example of why socialism is such a fail.......sad!

Bill took the Republicans to school.
That is how you use REASON to dismantle
An argument. Instead of empty words and platitudes,
Bill laid it out point by point.

Dude you are completely out to lunch. This convention is far from a hate fest that you would love to think it is. But go ahead, reality never got in the way of a RNC talking point.

I watched the GOP convention and the platform was full of hate and anger at the democrats and especially Obama.

I was disgusted with Obama but this convention that represents more than angry white guys has me leaning more to Obama. I was almost going third party with Gary Johnson the Independent, but I'm still undecided.

You are obviously not watching your own convention.........but then again if i was trying to defend a failed president it might be by blaming everything anybody had to say about his convention as "talking points"
By the way, whats up with the campaign button that says " once you have voted black you never go back", do you people really belive this sort of thing will help Obama, a bit racist isian't it??

They are until they figure out they need some votes

Nope. A lot of black democrats are highly religious. Most Catholics, Jews, and Muslims are democrats as well. You can't be anti-god when religious people make up your party. Democratic citizens are the party...

edit on 5-9-2012 by RealSpoke because: (no reason given)

Yes, I thnk you have a good point that many black Democrats are religious. But there was a reason why the Democrat Party eliminated God and Israel from their platform and they put it back in because they want the votes. Who says people who support Israel are religious necessarily? There are a lot of secular Jews, so we cannot equate Israel with being religious necessarily.

Clinton killed it. The DNC convention is simply blowing away the dull and dreary RNC convention. Not even in near the same league. DNC convention is major league; the RNC is Bush league. Pun intended.

Not trying to nitpick but I feel like Clinton tried to take credit for the growth of the middle class during his presidency...didn't that have more to do with the internet and technology boom?
