Are you insane?

No where in my post am I talking about who the nominee is. I was discussing the vote to amend the Party platform, which is the topic of this thread, The DNC Convention, where they do more than simply name a Nominee.

They are even replaying the vote on CNN right this second calling that vote, "controversial" when it was not a 2/3 majority vote. Even Wolf Blitzer is on CNN saying it seemed evenly split and was not a 2/3 majority vote.

Again, this was the vote to amend the Party Platform. That has nothing to do with who is the Nominee, which is Obama. No Democrat ran against him, there is no question and never has been a question of who is the DNC Nominee.

So yes, I live in THIS reality. The real question here is, how poor is your reading comprehension?

Ironic, Bamma can't be pro-Israel without being anti-muslim, but he knows where the majority votes are. Don't mistake any of this as Bamma being religious, he just wants the votes so he can go on trashing the country and the US Constitution.

This Convention was exactly what I expected. A bunch of mentally deranged lunatics foaming at the mouth while shooting off their pie-holes.

They even no longer include God in their platform (not that I care) but instead replaced him by worshiping that deceased drunk Ted Kennedy. Nothing short of a circus side show. What a bunch of nutcases. ~$heopleNation

I see these claims that Obama is destroying the constitution alot on here, yet nobody ever explains why they think that. Please explain how Obama is "trashing" the country, I'm interested considering the country is in a far better state than it has been for years.

They have always been jealous that the Kennedys threw better parties. Nobody wanted to go to Newt Gingrich's parties.

The Democrat Party is defacto socialist in all of it's aims and goals.

Based on some of your previous posts I think you are just hounding me without actually accusing me of not knowing what socialism is. That is not the issue here, but what the woman and her associates have stood for all this time.

Romney was not my first choice. I am on record as voting for Ron Paul in the primaries. A lot of Tea Party thought Romney was a RINO. But even a RINO is better than a far-left radical Marxist who hates America. In fact that new movie "2016" seems to focus on Obama's hatred of American "colonialism". Sure explains his behavior and actions.

Bill Clinton speaks in a little while, which is by most accounts the highlight of tonight.

I'd like to hear, specifically from the opposition to Obama, what people think of Clinton and his administration.

I'm wondering if you all agree with Ryan that Clinton was better than Obama, or see him more as a step in the direction of what Obama would eventually do.

Ryan, a House member from Wisconsin, also said a Clinton administration commission to study the future of Medicare inspired the GOP ticket’s proposal to offer seniors a choice of traditional Medicare or a fixed government payment that could be used to buy private coverage.

The essential question here is whether it is Obama himself who is primarily to blame, or the general Democratic party agenda. What would have been the difference had Hillary been elected in '08? Obama has had the support of the whole party right? So why is Clinton still so highly favored and Obama isn't?

President George W. Bush had a low favorable rating when he left office, and he's still not popular, according to a CNN/ORC International poll released Thursday. In fact, he's the only living president with a favorable rating that's under 50 percent.

Here's how the other living president's stack up: Bill Clinton, a 66 percent favorable rating and a 31 percent unfavorable; George H.W. Bush, a 59 percent favorable rating and 34 percent unfavorable; and Jimmy Carter, 54 percent favorable and 30 percent unfavorable.

In 16 years before Obama, we had 8 each with a republican and democratic president. The Dem has a current rating of 66% favorable, the Rep is 43%. And yet, there is still a huge faction wanting to put a Republican administration back in. This seems inconsistent to me.

Unless the argument is made that the Obama democrats are far more radical than Clinton, which is plausible.
